Cardi B Says She Was Kicked Out of Hotel in “Racist” Albany, NY and Accused of Smoking Weed

Cardi B says she was kicked out a Hilton hotel in Albany in upstate New York on Saturday after authorities accused her and her team of smoking weed, which she denies, adding that the allegation was racially-motivated.

Hotel reps declined to comment on the incident. Albany police confirmed to E! News that cops responded a report from the hotel but declined to give details. The incident took place after the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who is from New York City, performed at Times Union Center in Albany, whose African-American population is less than 14 percent. No arrests were reported.

TMZ posted a video of Cardi B leaving the hotel. While walking, she called someone a “racist motherf–ker” and appeared to knock down a display.

“So me & my team got kicked out of this hotel in Albany cause my floor smell like weed mine You I hate weed,” she tweeted on Sunday morning.

She soon posted a series of selfie videos talking about the incident.

“You wanna know something? Albany is known for being racist,” she said. “The floor that I was staying in in my hotel room, it smelled like weed. So the cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and on my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out.”

Cardi B said that she doesn’t even “talk about smoking weed” because “everybody knows that I do not smoke weed; I get very paranoid.”

“And none of my team members smoke weed,” she said. “We could all get drug tests—nobody smokes. Nobody smokes. Especially when I’m sleeping and…you’re not gonna do that to me. Mind you, everybody on the floor was Caucasian but you wanna kick us out.”

“And then n—as is just gonna pick out of everybody on the floor, Caucasians, that it was us that was smoking the weed in the middle of the night?” she said. “That s–t is not f–king right. Like, n—as was really being racists. Motherf–kers was being prejudiced and picking on who the f–k they thought that was smoking weed and you got the wrong f–king one. I’m telling you, I do not smoke weed.”

“And I really don’t want to be the one that pulls the ‘race card,’ like, ‘Oh, they did that ’cause they’re racist,’ but that is the only explanation that I could f–king find because I don’t understand, like, lemme tell you something, I don’t walk around with a whole entourage; it just be me, my manager, my security guard, the DJ and my dancers and nobody smokes weed,” Cardi B continued. “So for motherf–kers to just say like, ‘Oh, we’re kicking you guys out because there’s a smell of marijuana,’ so why don’t ya’ll search the room? And then they told us that earlier, there was some rap artist that was smoking weed and they got kicked out too. We’re not associated with them. So why- I just can’t. I can’t, really. I really can’t.”

Ahead of her rant, Cardi B had what appeared to be a drama-filled night. She shocked fans when she posted on Instagram Stories a video of herself that read, “Single.”

She later wrote on Twitter, “Reasons why me and Offset got into it …I think he stoled my purple blanket but it wasn’t him so I’m still looking for the suspect.”

“Naaa but on a serious note I really loveeeee my man,” she added. “He was gifted to me from Jesus.”

Cardi B Breakup With Offset Days After Ex Release From Prison

Cardi B and Offset have broken up just a few days after her ex-boyfriend was released from jail.

The duo was once relationship goals for their fans but that’s not the case right now. On Saturday night, both Cardi B and Offset took shots at each other on Snapchat while the “Bodak Yellow” rapper went a step further to announced that she is single. Bardi posted a a photo of herself on Instagram showing the peace sign. “Peace nikka,” she wrote in the caption. The Migos rapper followed suit a short time later by posting the peace emoji on his Snapchat.

The folks on Twitter already have their theory and and all fingers are pointing to Cardi B ex-boyfriend Tommy who they claimed was released from prison three days ago. The Bronx rapper once said that she would help her ex get back on his feet when he leaves jail, so perhaps she is making good on that promise and that is not sitting well with Offset whom she has been dating since last year. There were no signs that their relationship was on the rocks so this bit of news came as a shocker to a lot of their fans and perhaps even their celebrity peers.

While she was a cast member on Love and Hip Hop New York, Cardi B and her relationship with Tommy was her main storyline. They two broke up after he went to prison but it seems like there is no love lost. While Cardi has been making a lot of posts on Instagram, Offset has been radio silent aside from the peace emoji. He even still has several photos of her up which means their could be a chance that they could patch things up. “Sometimes you gotta do sh*t the old you would do,” she wrote on IG. “So mfers know not to play with the NEW you!”

Peace nikka ??

Cardi B Previews Her Upcoming Single At The Club: Listen

Cardi B previews a new song in the club last night and it sounds worthy of being “Bodak Yellow” follow up.

The Bronx rapper has been working on her debut album for the past few months all while she scored her first mainstream single and get a taste of hip hop history. Cardi B became the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill in 1998 to score a solo Billboard No. 1 song. She did it even before veterans like Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, and Remy Ma.

Hip hop fans have been weighing in on the new single and the reactions have been mixed so far. Some folks thinks that she stole Meek Mill’s flow from Dreams and Nightmares on this new single that sounds like another victory lap track. “I’m not a hater I’m just stating facts. She took kodak’s flow to make bodak yellow now she’s using meek’s flow from dreams and nightmares to make this,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Now she stealing Meek flow. Lmfao can she get her own style. First Kodak, then Drake, and now Meek.”

Post Malone Celebrates Billboard No. 1 By Smashing Guitar

Post Malone and 21 Savage new single “Rockstar” is now No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song is so big that it’s expected to return to the top of the chart next week and possibly the week after next. “Rockstar” ended Cardi B‘s reign on top of the Billboard Hot 100 with her mega hit single “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).” Post Malone celebrated the success of the single by smashing his guitar on stage while performing said track on tour. This is the first number one song for Post and 21 Savage and both of them are basking in the glory.

It’s true, hip hop is now the number one genre of music in the world and in case you have any doubt, just look at the top five songs on the chart. The top three songs are rap singles, “Rockstar,” “Bodak Yellow,” and Logic’s “1-800-273-8255.” This also marks the fifth rap single this year to top the Hot 100 chart, an achievement that is usually dominated by pop songs. So far this year we’ve seen Migos topping the chart with “Bad and Boujee” topping the chart at the start of the year and Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE” also gracing the top spot. DJ Khaled also climb to the top with his single “I’m The One.” Now Cardi B and Post Malone are battling for the top of the chart.

Post Malone was performing for his fans in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday night when he got in the rockstar mode and smash his guitar. He then tried to ordered a hundred more guitars to smash but seems they would only sell him 10. “Help @Postmates I wanna order 100 guitars to smash on tour but it’s only letting me order 10!” he wrote on Twitter. Posty once said that he likes to break stuff and this song is the perfect opportunity for him to break some guitars.

help @Postmates I wanna order 100 guitars to smash on tour but it's only letting me order 10!

Cardi B is still making “Money Moves” with his big performance at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The ceremony was held in Miami last weekend, but it was broadcast on the network on Tuesday night. The New York rapper performed her chart topping single “Bodak Yellow” and got the audience pump in the process. The single is currently in it’s third week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Bardi made a grant entrance on the red carpet turning a lot of heads in the process. But she turned up the heat when she took the stage to perform “Bodak Yellow.” She had the entire audience rapping along to the lyrics word for word as she showed off her banging body with her dancers supporting her.

Cardi B won three BET Hip Hop Awards on Saturday night for Best New Artist, Hustler of the Year, and Single of the Year. Bardi continues to bath in musical success with her single “Bodak Yellow” continues to reign over the chart. The track is currently the most popular song on the planet for a third week straight.

Cardi B Claps Back Hard At Azealia Banks Calls Her A Hater

Cardi B claps back at Azealia Banks calling her a hater.

Despite every female rapper congratulating the Queen emcee, yesterday Banks offload a Twitter tirade on Cardi B calling her the “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.” The Harlem rapper also accused black men of selling out for supporting Bardi and even singled out Charlamagne Tha God for helping the song “Bodak Yellow” reach number one on Billboard. Despite the hate there is only one of the two dancing all the way to the bank.

Last night Cari B posted an old photo of Azealia Banks dancing and rapping to “Bodak Yellow” while hinting that its haters like her who help get the song to number one. “One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1 cuz even the HATERS LOVE IT,” she tweeted. Before that she wrote on her timeline, “This is the happiest day of my life and no 1 will take this joy from me .I wish you sour patches a good day !Thats how happy I am.”

One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1 cuz even the HATERS LOVE IT !!

— iamcardib (@iamcardib) September 27, 2017

Several female rappers have congratulated Cardi B on her historic number one. Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott, Rapsody, Nicki Minaj, Dej Loaf, and Remy Ma were among the list of female rappers to congratulate her. She became the first female emcee since Lauryn Hill to score a solo Billboard Hot 100 number one song.

Azealia Banks Criticized Cardi B Says She Is No Nicki Minaj

Azealia Banks is perhaps the only female rapper on the planet right now who did not congratulate Cardi B on her No. 1 record on Billboard.

From Nicki all the way back to the OGs like Lauryn Hill and Queen Latifa have all congratulate Cardi B yesterday, but Azealia Banks don’t feel like she deserves the W that she is getting right now. The Harlem rapper offloads a rant on Twitter calling the “Bodak Yellow” rapper a “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.”

“She’s only black when black want to include themselves in a success story,” Banks tweeted. “Because I thought she was going to be a Latina hottie and not a poor mans nicki. It went the other way now I’m over it.” She also blasted Charlamagne Tha God who she claimed is the reason why Cardi B got the number one song in the country. “Charlemagne and black men in hiphop should have gotten me, remy AND nicki a number one before they gave cardi or iggy one,” she continues.

Some hip hop fans think that Azealia Banks is just a bitter female rapper who ain’t got nothing going on for her. Charlamagne will likely give her donkey of the day for the hundredth time for these series of tweets. Even several of the male rappers like J. Cole and Kodak Black have offered their congratulations to Cardi B who created hip hop history this week when she became the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to get a number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Cardi B responded saying that she will not let Azealia Banks take away her joy. “This is the happiest day of my life and no 1 will take this joy from me .I wish you sour patches a good day !Thats how happy I am,” she tweeted. “Every single FEMALE RAPPER CONGRATULATED ME TODAY .Is the best feeling cause I listened to ALL OF THEM.”

Cardi B Blast Her Haters Who Calling Her One-Hit Wonder

Cardi B is letting her haters know that she is still winning and not a one-hit wonder.

To be fair to the New York rapper, her breakout single “Bodak Yellow” is currently at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and could very well make it to number one. If that is not winning then what else does she have to do to earn more respect. Some fans are saying that she needs another hit to prove herself. In a post on Instagram, Cardi B let the haters know that she is coming from nothing so that in itself is winning.

“Coming from nothing isn’t winning, doing everything they said I couldn’t because of my stripper past isn’t winning, taking care of my family isn’t winning, reaching the top of the billboard charts when everybody said NO isn’t winning?” she wrote. “If this ain’t winning sis you tell me what is!! I know you must be so busy and overbooked that finding the time to give me “advice” was hard!! But I talk to Christ and my mother everyday and I don’t need it!!”

Some folks then responded saying that being busy doesn’t mean that your winning, while others think that she has to prove that she is not another one-hit wonder. Are some fans being too critical of Cardi B and should give her props where its due, in particular for scoring one of the biggest rap songs this year.

Coming from nothing isn't winning, doing everything they said I couldn't because of my stripper past isn't winning, taking care of my family isn't winning, reaching the top of the billboard charts when everybody said NO isn't winning??? What Engagement? Cardi B Says Offset Still Haven’t Proposed

Cardi B shot down engagement rumors last night saying that her boyfriend Offset still haven’t proposed to her.

Rumors of their engagement have been floating around for the past few weeks and only grew more intense last weekend. While on the red carpet at Sunday night’s MTV VMAs, Charlamagne Tha God asked her about the rumors and she immediately let it known that there is no ring on her finger. “Do ya see a ring on my ring finger?” she jokingly sang. She then held up her left ring finger to show the world that there is no ring on it. “Boy, is you gon’ marry me?” she added.

Cardi B also hinted that she does want to marry Offset somebody, but only when he is ready. So the big question now is she ready to get married to him? I’m a woman and every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children,” she said. “It’s never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can.” Charlamage then asked if that is not putting too much pressure on Offset and she responded, “I put it down ain’t no pressure, baby!”

Last week, Cardi B responded to an alleged diss from Nicki Minaj on London On Da Track’s new single “No Flag” featuring 21 Savage and Offset. “I don’t bother with these hoes,Don’t let these hoes BOTHER Me, she tweeted. Nicki also said that she was not dissing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper on her fiery verse. She also added that her verse was written months ago presumably long before Cardi’s blow up in hip hop. There rumored beef has been going on for months now and both have them have hinted that they are not beefing with each other. The fans think otherwise. Watch the interview below.

Cardi B Responds To Nicki Minaj Alleged Diss On “No Flag”

Cardi B has seemingly taken a subtle jab at Nicki Minaj over an alleged diss on London On Da Track’s new single “No Flag.”

Nicki Minaj once again dominated another guest spot on a single that features the likes of 21 Savage and Migos’ Offset. In her verse, she raps “Lil’ b*tch I heard these labels tryna make another me / Everything you getting little hoe is cause of me / I heard I’m stopping bags, word to Shaggy it wasn’t me.” While the entire Twitter universe thought that she was dissing Cardi B, the Young Money rapper tweeted out yesterday that she wasn’t dissing the “Bodak Yellow” rapper and in fact, her verse was written months ago.

Cardi B sent out a tweet yesterday that seems like it was a light jab at Nicki Minaj or perhaps she was addressing the controversy and not the PinkPrint rapper directly. “I don’t bother with these hoes, Don’t let these hoes BOTHER Me,” she tweeted. The former Love and Hip Hop New York star also took a more direct approach when she let everyone know its going down on sight. “I’m knocking b*tches heads off anytime any place,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

Cardi’s breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” has risen to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and if she makes it to number one, she will first Nicki Minaj to a solo number one record on the chart. She is currently the highest charting female rapper since 2014 when Nicki and Iggy Azalea were dominating the charts. Last night, the Brooklyn rapper performed at the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor weighing event in Las Vegas in front a huge crowd. The boxing match is expected to make history tonight regardless of who wins, but so far Mayweather, who is at 39-0 win, is the hot favorite.

Nicki Minaj Says “No Flag” Verse Not A Cardi B Diss Twitter Thinks Otherwise

Nicki Minaj says that her verse on London On Da Track new single “No Flag” is not a Cardi B diss.

The Young Money emcee is featured on the single “No Flag” with 21 Savage and Migos’ Offset, but she was forced to addressed the lyrics in her verse after fans started to call her out for dissing Cardi B. Remember it was earlier this week when she said that she has no beef with the “Bodak Yellow” rapper and then comes this fiery verse. Both 21 Savage and Offset also delivered killer verses but it’s the self-proclaim Queen of Rap who is taking the spotlight once again.

Here are some of the lyrics that is getting the most attention. “Lil’ b*tch I heard these labels tryna make another me / Everything you getting little hoe is cause of me / I heard I’m stopping bags, word to Shaggy it wasn’t me / These b*tches is my sons, but they daddy ain’t bust in me,” Nicki raps over a trap beat. Since tasting success with her breakout single “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B has been viewed as the next Nicki Minaj in hip hop. The former Lobe

The PinkPrint rapper took to her Twitter account last night to let everyone know that her verse was recorded months ago presumably before Cardi B’s blow up. “Y’all are trying to make Nicki’s No Flags verse about Cardi specifically, and it’s really not. Stop reaching please,” one of her fans wrote on Twitter to which she responded saying, “It sure ain’t Wrote this one a cpl months ago too #NoFlag.” Rappers have been known to take subliminal jabs at each other and sometimes deny it so some fans are still not sold on her response. Others think that it’s ridiculous for people to keep putting Nicki Minaj and Cardi B against each other because they are the only two females popping in the rap game right now.

If Nicki isn’t dissing Card in “No Flag” then clearly she is aiming her verse squarely at Remy Ma.

It sure ain't ????? Wrote this one a cpl months ago too #NoFlag ???

Cardi B – “Bodak Yellow (Y2K Remix)” [New Music]

Cardi B breakout single “Bodak Yellow” keeps getting more and more remix treatment.

One of the latest remix for the single is from Y2K who posted the track on his SoundCloud account and it has been getting some attention. This is not an authorized remix so you will not likely to find it on Apple Music and Spotify, but you can stream it on SoundCloud. The original version of the track has been doing very well this summer and climb to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.

This earned Cardi B the highest charting single by a female rapper since Nicki Minaj in 2014 and if she makes it to number one, she will be the undeniably top female emcee in a while. This track has surely transformed Cardi B’s profile and now industry stakeholders have no choice but to take her serious. Y2K kept most of the lyrics in tact for this remix but add another layer of lyricism to an already popping track. The remix brings a lot of fire take a listen to it below.

Cardi B Calls Nicki Minaj A Legend and An Icon In Hip Hop

Cardi B calls Nicki Minaj a legend and an icon in hip hop and says that she is honored to be compared to her.

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been rumored to be beefing with each other for months now especially since the success of her single “Bodak Yellow.” In recent weeks both artists have made steps to calm down the rumors but that isn’t stopping the question from being thrown at them.

The former Love and Hip Hop New York star did an interview with Spanish outfit Rapeton where she was asked about her comparison to the Young Money emcee. “It’s something great, why wouldn’t I want to be compared of confused to somebody that is such a legend, you know like an icon in the hip hop world,” Cardi B said. Just last week Nicki Minaj reacted to more rumors of her beef with Cardi in a tweet saying, ““I see no lies when Bardi quotes Barbie #WinAgain ~ all dat reaching you gon f*** around & pull a muscle…#BarbieTingz.”

That reaction on Twitter came moments after Cardi went on a rant on stage one of her performances calling out a particular female for not liking her before her blow up and all of a sudden want to be her friend. Some folks like Joe Budden thinks that she was talking about Nicki, but we still have no idea who she was referring to since she never called any names. Cardi B also said that she is open to a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, but only time will tell if that will happen.

Both ladies are the two leading female rappers in the game right now and just last week Cardi B became the highest charting female rapper on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since 2014 when her single “Bodak Yellow” climb to number 8 on the chart. The single is now at number 3, jumping five places this week. Do you think that Nicki Minaj is a legend and an icon in hip hop? Sound off in comments below.
