Chris Brown Album “Heartbreak on a Full Moon” Sold 68K Copies Debut At No. 3


Chris Brown new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon sold 68,000 copies in the first week of release and debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Brown’s first week sale numbers was made lower because he released the album on a Tuesday which means only three days worth of sales were accounted for last week. 25,000 copies were from traditional album sales. Breezy released the massive 45-track project last week on Halloween day and has been getting a lot of positive feedback from his fans about it.

Traditionally, artists released their new albums on a Friday to benefit from a full week of sales that would count towards their chart position. This marks the ninth top ten album for Chris Brown. Elsewhere on the chart, 21 Savage, Offset, and Metro Boomin drop their surprised joint album, Without Warning, a week ago and it sold 53,000 copies in the first week to debut at No. 4 behind Chris Brown. Post Malone’s Stoney album came in at No. 5 with 41,000 copies sold. Yo Gotti’s I Still Am sold 38,000 copies, Big K.R.I.T.’s 4Eva Is a Mighty Long Time sold 33,000 copies, Ed Sheeran sold 32,000, Future & Young Thug’s Super Slimey, and Lil Uzi Vert’s Luv Is Rage 2 moved 30,000, which rounded out the top 10.

If you take a closer look at the chart’s top ten albums, you will see that it’s dominated by hip hop.

Chris Brown new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon is now available and the singles off the project have been getting a lot of attention.

Brown dropped a new single today “Last All Night,” that served as a bonus track to an already crowdy album. The R&B singer packed all of 45 songs on a double-disc project for his fans and they are loving it. The slow jams joint features Chris Brown singing some seductive lines over an instrumental beat. “Girl, I don’t give a damn, ain’t no other man taking my place / He can’t hit your spot like I can, making your legs shake, oh / Licking your lips, girl, I love the way you taste / Yeah, you know I love that kinky sh*t,” Breezy sings.

“Wanted to do something special for the ladies,” Chris Brown said while dropping the song on SoundCloud. The “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer has been working on the new album for over a year and judging by the share number of singles, 45, it’s no surprise why it took him so long to complete. All the songs on the project outside of the previously released joints are hit-worthy.

Over the weekend, Chris Brown released three new songs off the album, “Hope You Do,” “Everybody Knows,” and “Pull Up.” He also includes other previously released singles on the 45-track album like “Privacy,” “Party” with Gucci Mane and Usher, “Pills & Automobiles” featuring Yo Gotti, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Kodak Black, “Grass Ain’t Greener,” and “High End” featuring Future and Young Thug. Elsewhere on the album, you will find guest appearances from Lil Yachty, R. Kelly, Jhene Aiko, Verse Simmons, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.

Heartbreak on a Full Moon is the followup to Chris Brown’s 2015 album Royalty. Since dropping that project, Breezy has released a handful of mixtapes including a project with his OHB crew. Heartbreak on a Full Moon is Chris Brown’s biggest album to date in terms of the number of songs packed on two discs. Last week, the R&B singer did an interview with Ebro on Hot 97 radio where he revealed that he currently has over 800 unreleased songs on his phone. That makes his phone a lot more valuable than his house and if get into the wrong hands could pose a threat to him.

The “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer will be hosting an Halloween-themed album release party on Tuesday night, October 31st in Los Angeles. He will also be performing at a pop-up show on Wednesday at a location yet to be announced.

Yo Gotti Album “I Still Am” (Listen)


Yo Gotti drops his new album I Still Am and you can stream and download it on iTunes/Apple Music.

Gotti already scored a platinum-selling single off the project with “Rake It Up” featuring Nicki Minaj. During the summer, he also released a joint EP with Mike WiLL Made-It, Gotti Made-It. But this new album I Am Still is the follow-up to his 2013 project I Am and is a bit of a sequel. The album comes with 13 tracks and sees guest appearances from Chris Brown, 21 Savage, Meek Mill, YFN Lucci, and French Montana.

I Still Am is the ninth studio album from the Memphis rapper who continues to show growth in an era when the industry is competitive. “Rake It Up” with Nicki Minaj is perhaps the biggest hit of his career. That song peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has been certified platinum. Chris Brown is featured on the single “Save It For Me,” Meek Mill and YFN Lucci is featured on the single “One on One,” and 21 Savage is featured on “Yellow Tape.”

Chris Brown Says Sorry To Charlamagne and Breakfast Club Over Failed Interview


Chris Brown has stepped forward to apologize to Charlamagne Tha God and The Breakfast Club over a failed interview this morning.

Brown has been making the promotional rounds this week ahead of the release of his new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, due on October 31st. Breezy don’t normally do a lot of interviews but this week he has been everywhere and all of his interviews are interesting. So far this week he turned up for all of his interviews, but this morning was different, he bailed on an interview with Charlamgane Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy on The Breakfast Club.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, Chris Brown apologize to the show and said that he will personally make things up. As for the reason for bailing, he said that he was hoarse from a long studio session the day before plus he has a pop-up show later on today (Wednesday October 25th). “Breakfast club, I Love yall, I apologize for not coming to the show,” he wrote. “Pop-up show today and I was hoarse as sh*t from studio, I’ll call personally so we can peace it up. love.”

“Hoarse!!! AND I UNDERSTAND THAT THE NEGATIVE SHIT THAT IS SAID BECAUSE YALL FEEL HURT,” he continues. “All good… I’ll let y’all have that. HOPE THAT HELPS YALL STATUS! Love you (I’m glad to know how yall really feel though.) guess god don’t make mistakes! SHOW TONIGHT… y’all invited too.”

Charlamagne Tha God was particularly upset with Chris Brown for missing the show and called him out on the show this morning. Still, Breezy seems like he is not upset and is willing to do the show at a future date so let’s hope that happens because we like to hear from the singer in interviews.

The R&B singer is currently gearing up to drop his double-disc album Heartbreak on a Full Moon on October 31st which will comprise of 45 songs, yes that’s a lot of music to drop on the same day although some of the songs are previously released. On Monday, Chris Brown did an interview on Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning where he revealed his work ethics, especially since fitting a studio in his home. He revealed that his phone currently has 800 unreleased songs.

“Right now, it’s been better because I built a studio in my house,” he said. “So, I never have leave. But for me, on my phone right now, I have 800 songs that nobody’s heard… I love music in itself so me being able to create at an abundant rate, for me I just think it’s a blessing.” Breezy discussed a number of topics in the nearly hour-long interview including his new documentary Welcome to My Life, his daughter Royalty, his career, and the types of music that he is making now.

Chris Brown also collaborated heavily with other artists from Usher to Lil Wayne and many other big-name stars, they have all called on Breezy for a verse. The “Loyal” singer even wrote a song for Jennifer Lopez on her last album. Among the guest list for his new album, you can find names like Gucci Mane, Jhene Aiko, Young Thug, Future, Usher, Lil Yachty and more. Heartbreak on a Full Moon will be Chris Brown’s first album in over two years after releasing Royalty in 2015. Chris Brown Speak On If He Talked To Rihanna Before Releasing Documentary


Chris Brown revealed a lot of details about his infamous Rihanna beating incident in his new documentary, but did he talked to her before releasing the film.

The “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer sat down for an interview on Ebro In the Morning on Hot 97 radio this morning where he opened up about the documentary, his upcoming album, daughter Royalty, and his clothing line Black Pyramid. Perhaps one of the only questions Chris Brown declined to answer was about Rihanna.

“Chris I got a chance to watch your documentary which I loved by the way and it was so honest, and you know so many questions was going through my head like did you had a conversation with Rihanna before putting this out? And Why was it important to put this out now,” Laura Stylez asked Chris Brown.

“I think with this for me it kind of just embodied what my fans actually respect me for,” Brown said. “And also them getting to know me a lot more, instead of me just painting an image like or coming up on the radio station or anywhere I go just like me just like me, it’s not like that. I just let it be natural and be real flow from the heart but at the same time I just want to be a man about everything in its entirety and who I am as an artist now.”

When pressed by the co-host on if he spoke with Rihanna about it before putting out the documentary, Breezy declined to speak on that. “That’s where I will leave it at this point, the movie is out and it’s good,” he said. Chris Brown will be releasing his new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, due on Halloween, October 31, 2017. The project comprises of 45 songs and guest features from Future, Usher, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, and Kodak Black.

Chris Brown Gets Eight Platinum Plaque For Old Singles


Chris Brown currently has a lot to be celebrating right now with eight of his singles getting multi-platinum certifications.

On October 3, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) issued eight new platinum plaques to Chris Brown for some songs that didn’t get certified in the past even though they sold millions. One song “Look At Me Now” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes which was released in 2011 was certified five times platinum by the RIAA.

Three of the singles “She Ain’t You,” “Strip,” “Beautiful People,” and “Back To Sleep” gets certified platinum, while “Don’t Wake Me Up,” “Deuces,” and “Yeah 3X” are all certified two times platinum. For a single to be certified platinum it would need to sell one million units and in the age of music streaming, 150 streams equal to one unit sold.

Chris Brown is currently working on his new album Heartbreak on a Full Moon due for release on October 31st. The massive project comes with 45 tracks and guest features from Usher, Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Def Loaf, Lil Yachty, Jhene Aiko, R. Kelly, Verse Simmons, Ty Dolla $ign, Yo Gotti, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Kodak Black. Chris Brown previously revealed that the project will be a double-disc album which means he could very well release hard copies, as well as, digital copies on major streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify. The album also comes with some previously released singles like “Privacy,” “Only 4 Me,” and “Paradise.”

The last album Chris Brown released is Royalty back in 2015, so this is his first major project in three years so he had a lot of time to record a lot of songs. This is another cut where Breezy takes on the directing mantle with the help of Spiff TV. The video Halloween-themed video features Chris Brown as a zombie and Future as a very rich ghost wearing Balenciaga and riding around in a Rolls-Royce. The clips start out with Brown rising up out of the grave to perform some dance moves that will take you all the way back to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

Young Thug was more of a Jack The Ripper type character where he was killing zombies and beheading people. You can find cameos from Fabolous, Trey Songz, and Teyana Taylor. Karrueche Tran is opening up about her past relationship with Chris Brown and how they met and fall in love.

The actress has some new shows coming out so she has been doing the press run to get the media interested. The base of our relationship started as us just being friends. It was work related. I didn’t have sex with him, anything like that. Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown then went on to have an on-again-off-again relationship with Rihanna getting in the mix resulting in a love triangle. Fast forward to this year and she had to take out a restraining order against him. She said she did it for her own safety because Brown had threatened her and even abused her in the past. “It came to a point where I felt like I needed to protect my safety,” she added. She said despite the bitterness between them now and the fact that they live in the same city, she has not crossed path with Breezy in the past several months.

Karrueche also stopped by Ebro show on Hot 97 radio where she opened up about the restraining order against Chris Brown and her new show on TNT name Claws. The reggae pop star has been under scrutiny in recent weeks over his finances after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest for failing to pay a Miami jeweler thousands of dollars. Chris Brown Taps Gyptian For His Latest Hit “Questions”

Chris Brown taps reggae/dancehall star Gyptian for his latest mega hit “Questions.”

Breezy has been feeling dancehall music these days and even recorded a single with Konshens that has been doing well. On the single “Questions,” he sampled what is perhaps Gyptian’ biggest hit single to date “Hold Yuh.” That song was produced by Ricky Blaze and was originally released in 2010. The song never took off until 2011 when it became a massive hit and was even sampled by Nicki Minaj.

Gyptian says that the sample by Chris Brown just once again proves that Jamaican music and culture continues to have a massive impact on the world. “I am ok with it and it goes to show that people a say dancehall music,” the singer said. “Chris Brown using my music is a positive thing, and I have nothing bad to say about it. I was notified and all the proper channels were used. In Jamaica, we should just do good music and let the music speak for itself and don’t hype it out. The special thing about Hold You is that it was able to bridge the gap between dancehall and hip hop.”

Gyptian wasn’t the only Caribbean artist that Chris Brown drew inspiration from for his new single “Questions,” he also got some ideas from Kevin Lyttle. Gyptian is now an independent artist after recently cutting ties with VP Records. He recently started his own label Right Direction Records and is looking to sign artists to the imprint.

Chris Brown is currently working on his new album “Heartbreak On A Full Moon” due on Halloween 2017.

Chris Brown Begging Rihanna Friends To Help Him Get Her Back

Chris Brown is far from being over Rihanna and is reportedly actively trying to get her back.

The rumors are getting louder that the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer is kicking himself for letting Rihanna go. Sources inside the Bajan pop star’s circle of friends told Dancehall HipHop this weekend that Brown has been reaching out especially after seeing her Crop Over Carnival photos. “He has been reaching out and I guess the whole reason is to see if he can get her back,” sources told us.

Seems the odds of Chris getting that old thing back is next to zero but you never know, love is a powerful thing. Chris Brown seems like he is still in love with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran to the point where she had to get a restraining order against him. Karrueche claimed that he threatened to kill her on sight and even threatened her best friend. Breezy recently released his new documentary “Welcome To My Life” where he opened up about his famous 2009 assault on Rihanna. The “Loyal” crooner says the two would get into regular fights and that on the night of the beating he punched her with a closed fist and taste blood. “I felt like a monster,” he said.

Rihanna says she will not watch Chris Brown new documentary “Welcome To My Life” where he opened up about brutally beating her.

The “Grass Ain’t Greener” crooner premiered his new documentary Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life last week. The cut made headlines for a segment where he opened up in-depth about the night in 2009 when he assaulted Rihanna, an incident that would change his life forever. In the clip, he spoke about punching his pop superstar girlfriend at the time with his closed fist and tasting blood inside his Lamborghini.

Sources inside the Bajan pop star’s circle told us that she has not watched the documentary and has no plans to. “No she (Rihanna) hasn’t watched it, in fact, none of us did and there is no plans to,” sources told Dancehallhiphop.com. “There are only two persons that know the true story about what happened then and it’s pretty clear who those two people are. I think RiRi has put all of that behind her and I think the other party should do the same and stop bringing back these old wounds. They were both young when this unfortunate incident happened and now they are older and more mature and have moved on from that. The rest of the world should do the same.”

Chris Brown also detailed his relationship with Rihanna in the months leading up to the assault on the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. The singer says that he and RiRi always have big fights to the point that their relationship became toxic. He also confessed to lying to her about another female he had sex with and that made her not trust him anymore. Rihanna is currently dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel. Just last weekend the pair were spotted on a dinner date out in London.

Our source told us that Rihanna has not spoken to Chris Brown in years, but she isn’t holding any grudges against him. “She wishes him well and will forever care about him,” sources added. “But she has moved on and don’t feel the need to keep in contact with him.”

Hassan reportedly is worth $1.5 billion dollars and is the heir to his family Toyota dealership in the middle east.

Chris Brown released his new documentary earlier this week where he detailed what really happens on the night he assaulted Rihanna. The “Loyal” singer opened up about punching the pop star with a closed fist. Brown also expressed a lot of regrets about his relationship with Rihanna and you can tell that he is remorseful for his actions and for letting her go. Rihanna seems to have fully moved on with her life and is not looking back. In an interview last year, she said that Chris Brown will always be someone she cares about, but she is now over that relationship and clearly isn’t looking back in that direction.

While she is not the typical celebrity who usually posts revealing photos, she is prone to get attack from folks on social media particularly Chris Brown and Rihanna fans. Seems rapper Ralo wasn’t too impressed with what he saw and let his feelings be known and now he also is getting some blow back from some folks who support Karrueche’s stance.

“Ralo should go make some better music and leave Karrueche alone, maybe you like you don’t like women or something homie,” one fan wrote on IG. Karrueche Tran has been rumored to be dating Migos rapper Quavo but neither of them has ever been public about their rumored relationship. In June this year, Chris Brown got into a fight with Quavo and the other Migos members while leaving the BET Awards. The fight was over Quavo’s relationship with Karrueche.

Just last week, Karrueche weighed in on Chris Brown commenting on Rihanna’s Crop Over carnival photo on Instagram saying that she wishes she could get that thick. I doubt Breezy will comment on her photo since she has a five-year restraining order against him. She ended her Twitter rant saying, “Any ways I love meeeeeeee and idgaf what y’all gotta say.
