Meek Mill Attorney Files Motion To Toss Out Sentence

Meek Mill‘s attorney has filed legal docs for his controversial sentence to be thrown out.

Since Judge Genece Brinkley handed down the sentencing last week, the Philly rapper has been fighting for his freedom and his supporters have been outraged about it. TMZ reported that Meek Mill does not just want his sentencing to be overturned, he also wants his entire probation to be terminated. In his legal docs, Meek is arguing that the 2-4 years sentence is tainted by a vendetta that the judge has against him. The rapper also filed a motion to have the judge booted from the case.

The Dreamchaser rapper’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, also argued in both motion that the two arrests earlier this year that the artist was found guilty of violating his probation were all dismissed from his record. His probation officer also testified that he has responded well to probation. Regarding getting his probation be terminated all entire, that will be a long shot, but the rapper argued that since going on probation, he has matured, become a responsible citizen and a father, and also acquired a profession as a musician. He also wants a judge to grant him time served and release him from prison.

Meek Mill is currently serving 2-4 years in a state prison for probation violation. According to the judge, the MC violated the terms of his probation by getting arrested twice this year. One time in March when he allegedly got into a scuffle at the St. Louis airport, which he says he was breaking up a fight, and another time during the summer when he was arrested in New York City for popping a wheelie in the street on his motorcycle. Meek Mill previously violated his probation in 2015 and was placed on three months house arrest for it.

The prosecutor and his probation officer both recommend no prison time for this case, but the judge ignored their recommendation and sentenced him to 2-4 years. His attorney argued that the judge is carrying an old grudge and even once okayed him to work with a convicted felon, Charlie Mack.

Meek Mill Case Judge Okayed Him To Work With Convicted Felon

Meek Mill probation violation case gets more bizarre the more we learn about it.

Not only is the judge under investigation for corruption, but she also gave the rapper the okay to do business with a convicted felon, Charlie Mack, TMZ reported. Under the rules of his probation, Meek Mill cannot be around or do business with anyone who has been convicted of a crime. This means that judge Genece Brinkley broke protocol when she allowed the Philly rapper to do business with Mack who pled guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine back in 1997. He was sentenced to five years for the crime.

Thee are some reports claiming that Justice Brinkley tried to pressure Meek Mill to leave Roc Nation and sign with Charlie Mack as his manager. The rapper refused and she told him to “suit yourself.” The FBI is currently investigating whether or not she used her position of power to steer business towards Mack. Some excerpts from the January 2014 transcript revealed that Meek’s attorney at the time, Gary Silver, and prosecutor Noel DeSantis, going back and forth about the terms of his probation and whether or not he should be around convicted felons.

In the end, it was agreed upon and Meek signed parole documents that he cannot be around anyone who is convicted. But the judge made this one exception for him to do business with Charlie Mack. “Your Honor, [Meek]’s not supposed to be around anyone who is under supervision and be around known felons,” prosecutor Noel DeSantis said in court. “Your Honor made an exception back in the day with the management to Mr. Mac. That was the only exception that you made.”

Last week, Judge Genece Brinkley ruled that Meek Mill violated his probation this year when he was arrested twice. She sentenced him to serve 2-4 years in a state prison. The harsh sentence angered many of Meek’s supporters including some of his celebrity peers like Kevin Hart and JAY-Z.

Meek Mill Considering Applying for Pardon.

This might be a long shot, but Meek Mill and his attorneys are considering applying for a pardon to the governor of Pennsylvania. The judge is under corruption scrutiny but that may not help him get out of jail anytime soon, as far as we see it, he may end up spending the next 2-4 years behind bars.

There is no guarantee that he will even get an approval for a pardon before his sentence ends since it can take up to three years just to get approval. There is currently a petition calling for Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to take a look at Meek Mill’s case and pardon him. The petition already has 300,000 plus signatures but there is one problem. The governor’s office is saying that he does not have the pardoning power to overrule the judge in the case.

Thousands of fans poured out in Philadelphia on Monday for a Free Meek Mill rally.

The Dreamchasers rapper is currently serving 2-4 years in a state prison in Pennsylvania for probation violation. But his sentencing last week sparked a national debate about the criminal justice system and now his fans are demanding a review of the controversial sentence. Both hip hop fans and the rapper’s celebrity peers have been weighing in on the case and most are in agreement that the sentence was heavy-handed and unjust.

The rally started at 5 p.m. on Monday at Philadelphia’s Criminal Justice Center and the crowd later marched through the streets. There is no word yet on if any celebrities attended the rally, but some members of Meek Mill’s Dreamchaser crew were there to support the rapper. NFL star and the leader of the new wave of anti social injustice, Colin Kaepernick, has also weighed in with a message on Twitter.

“Sadly there are Black folks going through the same radicalized injustice(s) within the justice system that Meek Mill has experienced for over a decade EVERY SINGLE DAY,” he wrote. “This requires more than just gradual reform in laws—It requires a swift overhaul.”

The video clip below, show a section of the large crowd rapping Meek Mill’s intro to his album, Dreams and Nightmares. There are a lot of allegations around the judge in Meek Mill case, some sources say she was carrying a grudge against the Philly rapper and even comes from the same section of Philadelphia where Meek’s from. The latest allegation is that she tried to get the rapper to leave his management company Roc Nation and signed with a local Philly manager.

“When she requests he leaves his current management Roc Nation—which is one of the most important management companies in the world—and goes back to a local Philadelphia guy who has a spotted past because she had a personal relationship with him as manager, again, she’s doing something that a judge would never be doing, having a personal interest,” Meek’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, told Billboard.

Joe Budden Speak On Meek Mill Sentence “He Deserve It”

Meek Mill is currently getting a lot of support from his celebrity peers but Joe Budden is a rare case.

A lot of rappers are probably thinking the same way as the Everyday Struggle host, but only he is brave enough to say it out loud. During Wednesday episode of his morning show, Budden talked about why he is not sorry for Meek Mill and broke down a number of ways that he thinks the Philly rapper could have avoided being sent back to prison. While some fans seem to agree with what he has to say, a large number of folks are bashing him for being a hater.

Meek Mill pleaded in court asking the judge to cut him some slack because he has made it this far and can’t afford to start over. The judge wasn’t haven’t it and handed down the 2-4 prison sentence regardless. DJ Akademiks said on Complex’s Everyday Struggle that he is surprised about the sentencing but not surprised that Meek is waist deep in legal troubles because that is how the system is especially if you’re a black man. Joe Budden was much more critical of the Dreamchasers rapper and there might be some truth in what he has to say.

“Everybody’s talking about Meek, so let’s talk about Meek, ‘I don’t feel bad for Meek at all,’” Budden said before going into a long lecturing about election day and how it correlates to the system of oppression. “The local elections are probably the most important, so I want to encourage all of ya’ll to go vote for your local officers, governor, mayor,” the “Pump It Up” rapper said. “To the people that don’t know, that is how the judges are elected. So we can’t continue to say that we have a problem with harsh judges and harsh sentencing if we as a people will do nothing about it.”

The judge in Meek Mill case is known to be strict and she has been working with the rapper since 2013. Meek’s attorney called her bias and vindictive for handing down the sentence on Monday, telling reporters that she once asked the rapper to remake Boyz II Men classic single “On Bended Knee” and give her a shout-out.

Meek Mill Rocks Beard As He Starts Prison Sentence

A bearded Meek Mill turned himself into authorities on Wednesday to start serving his 2-4 years prison sentence.

Earlier this week, Meek Mill was given up to 4 years sentence for probation violation, a ruling that shocked everyone including the prosecutor and his probation officer who both recommended no prison time. The name of the prison where the rapper will be serving his time is not yet known but he will be doing time in a state prison. Meek’s mugshot went viral on social media today for his beard and wide-eyed look.

Meek Mill’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, called out the judge calling her bias while claiming that she was motivated by a vendetta against the rapper to hand down the heavy-handed sentence. Joe Tacopina also revealed that he will be appealing the sentence. According to the lawyer, Meek and the judge are from the same section of Philly and during a meeting last year, the same judge asked the rapper to do a remake of Boyz II Men’s classic “On Bended Knee” and give her a shout-out. The Dreamchasers rapper refused and the judge responded saying “suit yourself.”

Meek Mill has been getting some support from his celebrity peers including JAY-Z, Kevin Hart, and T.I. Some of his fans have also launched a petition asking the state’s governor to overturn the sentence.

Meek Mill To Appeal Judge Heavy Handed Sentencing For Parole Violation

Meek Mill plans to appeal a judges “heavy handed” sentencing of up to four years in state prison for parole violation.

The rapper got the shocking news when he turned up for a court hearing in Philadelphia on Monday this week. One of Meek’s attorneys, Joe Tacopina, says there are grounds to appeal the sentencing which he calls bias and heavy handed. According to Tacopina, the judge is from the same section of Philly where Meek is from and has a grudge against the rapper for the past few years.

During a meeting in the judges chamber last year, the female judge suggested that Meek Mill did a remake of Boyz II Men’s classic “On Bended Knee” and give her a shout-out and the rapper refused to do it. The lawyer claims that the judge had a grudge with the Philly rapper ever since and was out to get him. Additionally, the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer, both recommended no prison time, but the judge handed down the heavy sentence regardless.

It’s unknown when Meek will start his prison sentence and how far his appeal will take him. Nevertheless, the MMG rapper has been getting a lot of support from his celebrity peers and fans including JAY-Z, Kevin Hart, and T.I. The sentence handed down by the Judge — against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer — is unjust and heavy handed. We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career,” JAY-Z wrote on Facebook last night.

JAY-Z Speaks On Meek Mill Prison Sentence “It’s Unjust”

JAY-Z is supporting Meek Mill amidst his shocking 2-4 years prison sentence for probation violation calling the sentencing “unjust.”

In a rare public statement, the Roc Nation boss posted a message on his official Facebook account criticizing the judge sentencing while stating that he will always stand by Meek Mill. “The sentence handed down by the Judge — against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer — is unjust and heavy handed. We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career,” Hov wrote.

A judge handed down the heavy sentencing on Monday after ruling that Meek Mill violated his probation when he got arrested twice this year. Although the charges against the Philly rapper was eventually dropped, the judge ruled that the arrest alone was a violation of his parole. Meek has been on probation for a gun and drug charge dated back to 2009. In 2015, he served three months on house arrest for violating his probation by traveling out of state without permission. In March of this year, he was arrested and charged with assault which is a misdemeanor following an altercation at the St. Louis airport. In August he found himself in police custody again for stunting in the streets of New York City.

For both charges, he struck a plea deal that leaves him with just community service and the arrest records wiped clean from his name. Meek Mill has been getting a lot of support from his fans and celebrity peers including Kevin Hart who shared a message on Instagram. The Philly rapper also reacted to news of his sentencing writing, “They say we equal I used to wanna play I like Randall and be a Eagle I used to play the quarterback my homie would go receiver that was until the football got flattened by a dope needle on the pavement.”

Meek Mill Reacts To Prison Sentence For Probation Violation

Meek Mill is taking his 2-4 years prison sentence for probation violation positively.

The “Dreams and Nightmares” rapper has shared his reaction to news that he is going back to prison and could be gone for a while. “We go to war for our freedom,” he wrote on Instagram on Monday. “They say we equal I used to wanna play I like Randall and be a Eagle I used to play the quarterback my homie would go receiver that was until the football got flattened by a dope needle on the pavement.”

Meek Mill turned up to court in Philadelphia on Monday with his attorney, Brian McMonagle, where he learned his fate. A judge ruled that he violated his probation when he got arrested in St. Louis earlier this year for an alleged fight with an airport employee, and again this summer in New York City for popping wheelies on his motorcycle in the streets of NY. He was charged with assault in the St. Louis case and for reckless driving and endangerment for the New York case.

Both charges were eventually dropped after he took a plea deal, but the judge rule that he violated his parole just by getting arrested. This is a big blow to Meek Mill who has been rehabilitating his image over the last few years with a number of charitable initiatives and getting more involve in his community. Meek has been getting some support from some of his celebrity peers like Kevin Hart who shared a supporting message.

“Praying for my brother [Meek Mill] right now,” Hart wrote. “God sometimes puts the toughest battles on his strongest soldiers. I’m here for you man!!!! My brother for life… Always here for you man!!! This storm will pass… Stay strong & keep your head up.”

Meek Mill will have to serve a minimum of two years in prison for violating his probation and could serve as much as four years.

Meek Mill Gets 4 Years Prison Sentence For Probation Violation

Meek Mill violated his probation and now he is heading back to prison for up to four years.

The Philadelphia rapper turned up to court today with his attorney, Brian McMonagle, where he learned his fate. Meek Mill has been having a string of legal victories over the past couple of weeks, but today his luck ran out when a judge ruled that he violated his probation when he was recently arrested in New York City. Although he struck a deal with prosecutors to avoid jail time, Meek still found himself in deeper legal problems with his probation.

The Dreamchasers rapper was sentenced to 2-4 years in a state prison, TMZ reported. He also violated his probation for an alleged fight at St. Louis airport. In that case too, the charge was dismissed. Meek Mill has been on probation for a 2009 gun and drug charge. As part of his probation, he cannot have any runnings with law enforcement including getting arrested.

Although the charges were dismissed, the judge ruled that the arrest alone is a violation of his probation. In 2015, Meek Mill violated his probation when he traveled out of state to an award show with Nicki Minaj without permission. He got off on just three months of house arrest. This time he might not be so lucky and could serve up to four years of prison time.

Meek Mill has been working hard to rehabilitate his image in recent years through a number of charitable initiatives and at one point he even announced on social media that he will stop recording music with violent lyrics. That effort was clearly not enough to get him into good grace with the judge. Since the news broke, he has been getting some support from his celebrity peers. It’s not clear when his sentence will start.

Meek Mill Facing Even More Prison Time For Probation Violation

Meek Mill could find himself back behind bars for probation violation and this time he could go away for a long time.

The Philly rapper’s next court date is set for Monday (Nov. 6) where he will find out his fate. Meek has violated his probation at least twice this year, TMZ reported. He has been on probation for a 2008 weapons and drug conviction where he served some time and was released on strict probation. Last year he served about three months on house arrest for violating said probation by traveling out of state with permission.

His two violations this year are much more serious and could land him in prison for up to two years. Back in March, Meek Mill allegedly got into an altercation with an employee at the St. Louis International Airport who was reportedly trying to get a picture with him. That case was recently dismissed after the victim moved to drop the case. There are some rumors that Meek might have paid the victim some dough to drop the case.

In August this year, Meek Mill was arrested in New York City for riding his bike and illegally stunting on the streets while shooting a music video. Last month, he struck a deal with prosecutors to have the case dismissed and wipe clean off his records if he do community service stay out of trouble for at least six months. According to reports, a judge has already indicated to Meek Mill and his attorney that one more wrong move and he will be put back behind bars.

While he awaits his court hearing on Monday, Meek Mill is pushing some good press by bringing 35 kids in Philadelphia to the Sixers game yesterday where the home team won.

GOOD WIN S/o to the SIXERS organization! @joelembiid and Anderson for the assistance ??

Meek Mill Scores Legal Victory In Assault Case Dismissed

Meek Mill scored his second legal victory this month after getting his airport assault case dismissed.

This is the second W for the Philly rapper in October in the courts. Earlier this month, he struck a deal in a traffic case in New York City which sees him walking away with just community service. Back in March of this year, he was slapped with a misdemeanor assault charge in St. Louis after getting into an altercation with a fan who claimed that he just wanted to take a picture with the rapper.

Just like his NYC traffic case, Meek Mill struck a deal with prosecutors which will see him doing some more community service, TMZ reported. His high profile lawyer, Joe Tacopina, confirmed the news yesterday. For the traffic case, Meek will have that record wiped clean from his name, as part of the deal he struck.

The Dreamchaser rapper is looking to put all of his legal troubles behind him so he can clean up his image to attract more corporate deals, or perhaps he just doesn’t want them hanging over his head. Meek Mill is currently working on some new music but he has yet to announced any new albums or mixtapes.

Meek Mill Avoids Jail Time Cops Deal In NYC Traffic Case

Meek Mill avoids jail time in his New York City traffic case.

In August, Meek Mill was arrested in NYC for reckless endangerment after cops say he was spotted stunting on his dirt bikes in the street with his crew. The Philly rapper live streamed his running with law enforcement officials who arrested him on the spot. Cops say they found a video on social media showing the emcee and his crew doing wheelies and weaving in and out of traffic.

Meek denied the whole thing, but it turns out that there was some truth to what the cops were saying. TMZ reported, that the MMG rapper copped a plea deal with the DA’s office which will see the arrest wiped clean off his record if he can stay at least six months without more issues with law enforcement. He will also have to do 30 hours of community service and he already clocks 20 so he is moving pretty fast to get this latest escapade behind him.

Meek Mill was shooting a video at the time when he got caught doing wheelies on the streets of NYC. He was charged with a felony which could have given him some jail time.

Safaree Explains Being Attacked By Meek Mill Goons & That Twerk Video

Safaree Samuels is explaining what really happened when he had a running with Meek Mill and his goons and that infamous twerk video floating around on the net.

Safree was on Everyday Struggle a couple days ago discussing a number of topics including Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Meek Mill, and his own career. The incident with Meek went down in June at a party DJ Khaled was hosting during the BET Awards weekend in West Hollywood. Safaree and his friends were hanging out outside the venue when Meek Mill and his crew pulled up and jumped him.

“This is going to be my first time talking about it because I never really explained the situation,” he said. “I saw him come out first and am just standing there looking at him and by the time he stood out boom I got hit so then I ran off to where the car was parked at. Then I turned around and stopped to look and see what’s going and I see two people coming at me from the front and then there was another group of more people coming towards me from the side. When I balled up that’s where I was by the car I just felt ni***s hitting me. All I saw was like feet shuffling boom boom boom and then when I felt like I was able to break free, I didn’t even realize what was happening. I went to a bar I went and got a bottle and I went and got a knife. My boy when he came back I didn’t even know that he was fighting else I would’ve gone back like am not trying to leave I don’t care how many ni***s there was.”

One of the big thing about the running between Safaree Samuels and Meek Mill was that he ran and left his friend who was fighting for him. Meek is being criticized as a coward for attacking one man with over a dozen men.

Regarding that infamous twerking video, Safaree says that he was 17 years old at the time of the video and he was just doing it to win over the ladies in Brooklyn. I was 17 years old at the time when that happened” he explained. “And back in the days when we used to do the show, that would make the girls go crazy.”

Was Nas Dissing Meek Mill In His Latest Rant With Nicki Minaj

Nas offload during a recent Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj and now some folks think that he was dissing Meek Mill.

Now that we all know that Nas and Nicki Minaj are dating, everyone is now looking for a reaction from Meek Mill and Safaree, but more so the Philly rapper. Nicki made a point to live stream her recent time spent with the New York rap legend at his 44th birthday bash in NYC. You can see in the video below Nas taking shots at all the current rappers in the game, calling them the female genitalia.

“All you ni**a is pu****, everybody that rap is pu***,” Nas rant. Of course, it could just be a case where he drank a little too much Hennessy or perhaps he was taking shots at one particular rapper and just played it off saying all rappers. It could also mean that he is singling out a particular set of rappers since Meek Mill and JAY-Z are now tight and the Dreamchaser emcee is even signed to Roc Nation. Nasir and Hov have long buried their beef but now that Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend is aligned with him it could reignite that old feud.

“Nas should just quit playing and say he is talking about Meek Mill, ni*** its so obvious and now you gonna see all the snowflake Chasers being silent on the Gram,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Some fans are calling out Meek for being silent about Nicki Minaj hooking up with Nas but at the same time, he and his goons jumped her ex-boyfriend Safaree. “Meek is a pu*** for real because he and twelve other ni***as jump Safaree and now you don’t hear a word from him about Nas,” another fan tweeted.

Whether or not Meek will have something to say about the Illmatic rap legend, only time will tell, he sure did had a lot to say about Safaree.

Both Nas and Nicki Minaj are from queens and he made a point to highlight that last weekend when the took did a photoshoot on their home soil.

Boy, you gon’ turn him into an angel?
f*ck yeah, turn him to an angel
Don’t come around with the anger
You know everybody having bangers

Swear to god Kirk Franklin can’t save him
I can get you whacked real easy
You are not a Power Ranger, you a stranger
P***y nigga you’re no danger
Gangster b*tch with me, she’ll spank ya
Swear to God all I gotta do is point one finger
She’ll close range ya, hah
Drinkin’ ‘Tussin’, nigga slow it down
RIP to Troupe, pour it out
You want me dead but I can’t ever die
They livin’ false, but I can never lie
Mob baby, baby I got ties
I want chicken wings on the side
You got higher dreams when you fly
Until then you’re never near the sky.

How you dig that, know what I’m sayin’
Yeah I dig that with a golden shovel on another level
With a iced out AP times a Rollie bezel

You gotta stay ready to keep from gettin’ ready, you understand what I’m sayin’?

Lyrics Meek Mill – Team rich

Yeah, mmmmhm, turn the beat up a lil’ beat

If you got money, you fall, it gon’ catch you
When the whole team rich.

Want the whole team rich, want the whole team rich

Really want the whole team rich
Want to see the whole team lit but it don’t mean s**t
Look at what Po did to Mitch, hit him up for thirteen bricks
Niggas ain’t loyal, these b*tches ain’t loyal so we never trust ’em
I lay with that chopper, I sleep with one eye open these niggas’ll touch ya
I go to sleep with that Mech on the dresser
S**t, I feel like Tony Montana
Pray we don’t go to the slammer
They just got here for a hammer
I’m ’bout to go to Atlanta ‘fore I go banana
Payin’ these lawyer fees, coppers follow me, watch me, recordin’ me
P***y niggas, they said, they extortin’ me
Put a price on my head, try to order me
I’m like, look what this money s**t doin’ to me
It can make us or break us
I never fake with the fakers
I’m gettin’ money, s**t, I got your b*tch in Jamaica
Dutty whinin’, rolling papers
Never minding for your favors
f*ck, it’s time we do it major
We’ve been grinding for a minute
Bust a hundred with my niggas
That’s the only way I’m living.

Want the whole team rich, want the whole team rich
Want to see the whole team lit, see the whole team rich
See the whole team rich, want to see the whole team lit
My niggas so hungry, we got get that money and we ball forever
If you got some paper and I got some paper, if you fall, I’ma catch (I’ll catch you my nigga)
Want the whole team rich, want the whole team rich
Want to see the whole team lit, see the whole team rich
See the whole team rich, want to see the whole team lit
My niggas so hungry, we go get that money and we ball forever
If you got some paper and I got some paper, if you fall, I’ma catch (I’ll catch you my nigga)
Want the whole team rich.

You know I ride for my dawgs
It’s do or die for my dawgs
No switching sides on my dawgs
I done sold nickels and I done f*cked down with my dawgs
Nigga, it’s deep versuri-lyrics.info
We do not fall out for b*tches ’cause we done f*cked all of them b*tches
I’m alley-ooping these h**s, I get all my assists
You know I’m ball with my niggas
Time to get back on that trill s**t
Came in the game with some rare s**t
You came in the game with some bullshit
I turn it on when I wanna hit my kill switch
I make a mill’ quick, then I double up
I came from the bottom like a upper-cut
When the feds came, got the bubble-guts
S**t, I pray to god, it ain’t one of us
And I pray to god, I don’t f*ck this up
Bout to make a nigga get a hundred bricks
Passing, blowing s**t, probably blow this s**t
S**t, they said I can’t do a show and s**t
They ain’t notice it but I’m goin’ through it
I never show that s**t, I’m immune to it
I should kill these niggas, let my goons do it
I can smell the money, it coming soon to us.

Want the whole teaaam rich, want the whole teaaam rich
Want to see the whole team lit, see the whole teaaam rich
See the whole teaaam rich, want to see the whole team lit

Meek Mill Gets Dapper In “Save Me” Video

Meek Mill gets dapper up for his new video “Save Me” off his new album Wins & Losses, in stores and online now.

The album debut at number three on the Billboard 200 album chart and sold 102,000 album-equivalent units in the first week. “Save Me” is just the latest in a series of visuals from Meek Mill from this project as he looks to push it further and finish the year strong. There are still more visuals to come but in the mean time enjoy this one below.

In one scene, Meek and his crew stand in front of a corner store while donning a tuxedo. There is another scene in the Ngo-directed cut which shows the rapper walking through the hallways of a school before performing in front a large crowd in his hometown of Philadelphia. Meek Mill is also prepping his fans for the deluxe version of the album Wins & Losses which will include a few mores songs. The album is currently at number twenty on the 200 chart so maybe this additional release will breathe some new life into the project. The deluxe version will likely come on September 9.

Despite his breakup with Nicki Minaj earlier this year, Meek has been having a great year with a slew of new music, an album and some big performances including last weekend’s Made in America festival.

Meek Mill Reacts To Arrest Claims Cops Profiled & Targeted Him

Meek Mill has reacted to his recent arrest in New York City for disturbing the peace and reckless endangerment.

Cops pulled over the Dreamchaser rapper last Thursday night for allegedly stunting with his crew on motorcycles without helmets. Sources say around five squad cars pulled up on the rapper where one cop questioned him before putting him in handcuff and arrested him. Apparently, Meek Mill was shooting a music video in Harlem and was doing wheelies with his crew all while cops looked on.

The next morning Meek Mill walked free and was only charged with two misdemeanors despite originally looking at at least a felony charge which could land him in jail for some time. Sources around the Philly rapper told DHH that he felt like he was racially profiled and targeted by the cops who tried to pin charges on him. “The whole thing just like like racial profiling to us because why so many police officers had to create a huge scene just to pull over one man who was not even armed,” sources told us. “Then they let this man (Meek Mill) sleep in jail and couldn’t even find anything to charge him with and then tried to pin two misdemeanors on him. The law enforcement system is rigged against black men, but fortunately Meek can afford a decent attorney. What happened to the vast majority who don’t have the means of getting themselves a good lawyer.”

In a press conference with his attorney in NYC, Meek Mill says that he is a family man who is hard-working, The “1942 Flow” rapper also maintained his innocence saying he did nothing wrong. Meek has had a number of legal troubles over the past few years including last year when he was placed on house arrest for three months. His latest running with lawmen won’t see him getting any jail time, but will surely remind him of his many legal woes.

Meek Mill Admitted “I always wanted Nicki my whole life”

Meek Mill admitted in a recent interview that he has always wanted Nicki Minaj, in fact, he said his whole life.

The Dreamchasers rapper is currently celebrating the success of his new album “Wins and Loses” which peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 album chart. He called the album Wins and Loses because of some real life wins and loss that he endured throughout his career including his beef with Drake and his breakup with Nicki Minaj in December last year.

Meek Mill called the bitter split with Minaj a loss because she is someone that he not only always wanted but also love. “I always wanted Nicki my whole life,” he told Cosmic Kev on Power 99. “I used to talk [about it]. I had to rap about it. I bagged that. That was a win, of course.” In contrast, Meek called his beef with Drake a win for him, even though the vast majority of hip hop fans think otherwise.

Meek Mill Says Nicki Minaj Breakup Is A Loss But Drake Beef Is A Win

Two of the main persons that came up when Meek Mill does any interview about his new album Wins & Losses are Nicki Minaj and Drake.

Back in 2015, Meek Mill famous started a beef with Drake on Twitter that spawned the now classic diss record “Back To Back” from Drake. An overwhelming amount of hip hop fans thinks that the Philly rapper took a big L in that beef. Fast forward to December 2016, Meek Mill had a bitter breakup with Nicki Minaj and again a lot of folks in hip hop thinks that he took another L, and now he is agreeing with that assessment, but not the Drake one.

Speaking with Power 99, Meek said that it was a win for him when he beefed with Drake. His argument is that the beef cause a lot of people to leave from around him and now he realized that those people needed to go, so he is happy that they were removed. “It’s always a win,” Meek said. “There was a lot of people around me before that. They thought it slowed down a little bit. I’m spending cake on these dudes left and right. We going 5-star everything. Foreign everything. The minute it looked like it slowed down, I was in the studio with 3-4 people. Had to hustle and get it back, so I needed to remove them. I won. It made me into a monster. They put my back against the wall…It helped me turn into the next level. I was too comfortable. I had Nicki.”

Regarding the Nicki Minaj breakup, Meek Mill says that was a loss because he loved her and has always wanted her his whole life. “Breaking up with anybody you love is a loss,” he added. Meek Mill also spoke about his recent feud with Miami rapper Trick Daddy who went on Instagram and pretty much bans the Philly rapper from going back to Miami, a place he called his city.

Nicki Minaj Fans Says Meek Mill Is Petty For Bringing Cardi B On Stage

Some folks are saying that Meek Mill was being petty AF when he brought out Cardi B on stage during his concert in Philly.

Let’s be clear, it seems like it’s mostly Nicki Minaj fans who are saying that Meek is just as petty as Remy Ma to bring Cardi B on stage. In the meantime, Cardi B is just out here trying to make her paper. Following her performance with Remy Ma at Hot 97 Summer Jam recently, Cardi B was accused by MInaj’s Barbz of being a traitor, to which she responded saying, “Exactly idgaf about no beef sh-t I’m not beefing with nobody I’m not going to miss opportunities cause of sh-t that got nothin to do wit me.”

Last week, Cardi B posted a photo of herself and Meek Mill before the two performed on the same stage for the first time. By the way, Cardi B’s new single “Bodak Yellow” is lit and it’s climbing the Billboard Hot 100 chart rapidly. “I f**k with Meek Mill the rapper but he petty af as a individual,” one fan wrote on Twitter while another added, “Meek Mill will forever be a petty ni**a so bringing out Cardi B shouldn’t be a surprise. She don’t even know that she is being used as part of his petty game. He probably smash too.”

Cardi B’s single “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” is currently number number 49 on the Hot 100 chart up from 78 a week ago. Meek Mill is also currently pushing his new album Wins & Losses out now.

Meek Mill Says “Wins & Losses” Is Not About Drake & Nicki Minaj Beef

Meek Mill says his new album Wins & Losses has nothing to do with his beef with Drake and Nicki Minaj.

The album title gave the impression that Meek Mill is addressing the Ls he received from the feud with Drake and his bitter split with Nicki Minaj, but the Philly MC is saying that the project has nothing to do with those two incidents nor those individuals. The Dreamchasers rapper sat down for a candid interview with DJ Holiday in Atlanta yesterday where he opened up about a number of topics including his recent encounter with Safaree Samuels, the meaning of the album title and more.

“I’m letting the people know how I feel right now,” Meek Mill said(via XXL). “I just wanted to give people a real perspective of my life, what we call wins and what we call losses. I lost my case, we lost Lil Snupe, Chino lost his brother. Where we come from, that’s a loss.” Meek also said that the Ls that folks are talking about on social media like his beef with Drake is not the Ls that he is rapping about on the album.

“When you talk L’s and W’s, you get an L, that mean you got life in jail,” he added. “It’s critical, it ain’t what they talking about, so I wanted to give my perspective on it, let people know what I’ve been through.” Pretty much Meek Mill is sounding like he is completely over the Drake beef and the Nicki Minaj breakup and feels like rapping about his late affiliate Lil Snupe is much more important that addressing those old feuds. He also hinted that he would be addressing his legal troubles on the album. You can remember last year he served time on house arrest for probation violation.

Leading up to the album release tonight, Meek Mill has released chapters one through to three of the Wins And Losses Movie on YouTube. Each chapter tells a different story inspired by true events.

Levels – Mango Foo lyrics

Lyrics Mango Foo – Levels

It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
Bigger watch, bigger bezel
Gold chains, heavy metal
b*tches dig me like a shovel
I never been to Coachella
But my trap look like a rave
And my neck look like a slave
I been gettin’ money, I’m straight
It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
Bigger watch, bigger bezel
It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
I never been to Coachella.

I never been to Coachella
But my trap look like a rave
I been getttin’ money, I’m paid
I got chains on me, no slave
Big rocks in the bezel
Versuri-lyrics.info
Young nigga get on my level
Scrape the pot for the extras
Trap laboratory, no Dexter
Do a drive-by in a Tesla
Ballin’ like I’m Clyde Drexler
Get my codeine from the medical
I would never put a b*tch on a pedestal
These b*tches be feelin’ me
You can’t imagine what I’m finna be
You can’t imagine what I’m finna do
I’m blowing up like an inner tube
All of my niggas is riders
We locked in, can’t divide us
These b*tches lost tryna find us
Spread the money like a sinus
Bando he trappin’ in the back
Dealin’ hand in hand, no pitty pat
If we run off on you, you can’t get it back
We might run up on you with the mini MAC
She put the dope in her kitty-cat
I keep the Glock in the front seat
f*ck 12 so I’m serving on front street
All of these niggas is lunch meat
How you go big on big?
Meek Mill, I done leveled up
Old rappers need to give it up
No Milwaukee, I got plenty bucks
We know your bag ain’t big enough
You niggas’ face card outdated
Still rappin’ but you ain’t made it
Havin’ debt but you ain’t paid it
I got the streets behind me
All of my niggas is gon’ eat
I got some real diamonds on me
I really came from the concrete.

It’s levels when you gettin’ cheddar
Bigger watch, bigger bezel
Gold chains, heavy metal
b*tches dig me like a shovel
I never been to Coachella
But my trap look like a rave
And my neck look like a slave
I been gettin’ money, I’m straight
It’s leveeels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s leveeels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s leveeels when you gettin’ cheddar
Bigger watch, bigger bezel
It’s leveeels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s leveeels when you gettin’ cheddar
It’s leveeels when you gettin’ cheddar
I never been to Coachellaaa.

Price

Lyrics to ‘Price’ by Meek Mill:

–Intro–
Shit, every since I got money
I ain’t been happy like I used to
They say, “You got pay the cost to be a boss”
Check this
When you the nigga with the money
Somebody go to jail, you gotta pay they bail
Somebody die, they gon’ turn to you for the funeral
But I just be thinking like, “When I’m gon’ be able gon’ able to turn to somebody, shit”
Bosses got feelings too
I done did shit for niggas a thousand times
Told ’em no one time and watch ’em talk about me crazy, write / wrap bite my back out
But I still stood tall

–Hook–
Uh, when you sitting at the top and you think you seen it all
Caught up with your dreams with nobody else to call
With tears up on my face, ’cause I know I’m gon’ be straight
Had to cut a couple homies
Had to learn from my mistakes
This the price of being great
Oh, this the price of being great
