Stormzy Pledges £10m, 50% Of His Net Wealth, To Black British Causes Over Next 10 Years

Many artists and celebrities have been giving money to black communities in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement in the US, sparked most recently by the murder of George Floyd. Now, Stormzy, popular UK grime artist, has made a massive and lasting contribution by pledging £10 million, 50% of his current net wealth, to black British causes over the next ten years.

While one time payments to charities are useful, recurring donations are exceptionally important as they give these organizations a firm idea of what their overhead will be in coming months and years so they can more effectively allocate those funds.

Read statements from Stormzy and Merky Records below.

“The uncomfortable truth that our country continuously fails to recognise and admit is that black people in the UK have been at a constant disadvantage in every aspect of life – simply due to the colour of our skin.”

“I’m lucky enough to be in the position I’m in and I’ve heard people often dismiss the idea of racism existing in Britain by saying, ‘If the country’s so racist how have you become a success?!’ And I reject that with this: I am not the UK’s shining example of what supposedly happens when a black person works hard. There are millions of us. We are not far and few.”

“We have to fight against the odds of a racist system stacked against us and designed for us to fail from before we are even born. Black people have been playing on an uneven field for far too long and this pledge is a continuation in the fight to finally try and even it.”

If You Haven’t Seen the New Drum & Bass: The Movement Documentary by Drum&BassArena, It’s More Than Worth a Look

There have been a few documentaries out recently, with American Jungle exploring the development of drum & bass stateside was released over three parts from March to May, One Nation: Three Decades of Drum & Bass was released in February specifically about the One Nation parties in the 90s that were integral to the formation of the D&B scene in England and now Drum & Bass: The Movement which covers the nearly 30 years of drum & bass from the perspective of one of the genre’s most prolific promotions and press magnates, Drum&BassArena.

Drum & Bass: The Movement released on May 25 in a livestream premiere event and is the first of its kind to feature an actual historical timeline of the drum & bass movement, tracking how it formed from UK hardcore and early jungle to where it’s come to now with myriad different subgenres and offshoots, including dubstep, riddim and halftime.

The 85-mintue documentary features interviews with drum & bass progenitors like Goldie, Andy C, Roni Size, DJ Flight, Grooverider and Ed Rush & Optical along with some of the legends who came along during different eras such as Mefjus, El Hornet (Pendulum), Friction and Chase & Status to help construct its narrative. One criticism some old school drum & bass heads had was that the documentary didn’t feature enough of the important figures in drum & bass but with the narrative the documentary set out to create, more artists might have been overload. Perhaps a part two and even a part three may be in order?

Whether you think it missed some key figures or not, Drum & Bass: The Movement is still wildly entertaining and brings up a lot of interesting points about drum & bass culture. There’s lots of great throwback footage and images and it’s also a great documentary to teach younger heads who came and are still coming into the scene about how drum & bass was born, grew and continues to make its mark on music.

Drum & Bass: The Movement is still available to watch in full on YouTube and it’s definitely worth sitting down and watching. Well produced, well-written and thought-provoking, no matter what the interview lineup, the documentary one of the best done about drum & bass so far. It truly captures that unique D&B vibe that we all love so well. Many thanks to the vision and work of all involved. Watch the full documentary below.

Inside London’s Illegal Rave Scene During Lockdown

Illegal raves are popping up across the UK (particularly the greater London area) amid the lockdown, but it’s not the typical crowd.

Mixmag investigates in a new feature, which exposes a scene that’s “rebellious, diverse and decentralized.” The usual party throwers have transitioned to live streams — and from the sounds of it, less established, less experienced party throwers have moved in.

An anonymous source reveals: “The people putting on parties during lockdown are generally not part of the established UK free party scene. Generally, these parties are being put on by groups of very young people who haven’t thought through the consequences of their actions or complete idiots who have access to small sound systems and want to make some fast money.”

While London’s free parties are intended to defy so-called “bad laws,” the major players don’t view the lockdown as such. Another anonymous source told Mixmag: “We absolutely condemn anyone doing free parties during the lockdown.”

First “COVID-Compliant” Rave Takes Place In The UK [WATCH]

The UK’s first “COVID-compliant” rave went down over the weekend in the Nottingham forest with regulations put in place to help keep dance fans safe.

According to reports, a socially distanced crowd was enforced at the open-air event. Face masks and hand sanitizer were handed out to all. DJ equipment was routinely disinfected and staff ensured that attendees kept appropriate distance while celebrating.

At one point, police crashed the party. However, after seeing everything was in order, they allowed the gathering to carry on as planned and received a round of applause.

One of the promoters revealed to Metro UK, “It went really well, the vibe was amazing. At the start I was paranoid it was going to get shut down. We had to make sure everything was above board, we had capacity for about 80 people.”

The event featured live sets from Latmun, Ben Sterling, Dafs and Sho. It was filmed as part of a documentary on live, socially distanced shows in the UK.

The best part? Party goers left no trace.

STUDY: 82% of Festivalgoers Ready to Return to Live Events

Whether or not it’s safe for live events just yet, fans are ready to get back at it!

According to Festicket, 82% of festivalgoers are ready to return to live events and 82% of respondents would return to live events within the next six months if given the opportunity.

Furthermore, approximately 33% of the participants across the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands say they’d “feel confident to attend a festival immediately after lockdown is lifted.”

After two to three months, 35% would feel comfortable attending events. After six months, an additional 16% would return to events, granted the lockdown is lifted.

Festicket marketing director Luis Sousa said: “Despite all the current uncertainty, it’s reassuring to see a high percentage of festivalgoers have a positive outlook for the live events industry, backed up by over 75% saying they’d feel comfortable booking events for 2021.”

Festicket surveyed 110,000 people for this study.

UK Venues & Clubs Fear Social Distancing Is “Financially Unviable”

While some venues across the world are looking to reopen with social distancing practices in place, UK clubs find it may be “financially unviable” to reopen under such circumstances.

According to a recent study conducted by the Night Time Industries Association, clubs, bars, venues, etc. across the UK are wary. Out of the 130 businesses surveyed, the majority expect to reopen at a 40-43% capacity and 63.8% believe they won’t be able to operate without financial support.

The pandemic has driven widespread uncertainty and “left the industry in an untenable position.” Only time will tell if nightlife post-lockdown can survive and what that looks like.

One respondent said, “Social distancing is incompatible with businesses selling social interaction. You do not go to a bar to get drunk. You go to a bar to socially interact with people. Asking hospitality businesses to practice social distancing is a bit like trying to sell someone a car they cannot drive.”

Another wrote, “They need to realise we cannot open partially whilst still paying all our bills. Electricity for 10 people [is] the same as 100. Atmosphere in pubs will be damaged and will do more harm than good.”

Calvin Harris Recalls The Time An ER Had To Restart His Heart In 2014

Calvin Harris has lots of stories to tell for being one of the world’s top DJs. Whether it’s flying back and forth from Ibiza to his residencies in Las Vegas or playing the world’s biggest festivals, there must be some story for every show he plays.

Back in 2014, Calvin had quite the interesting year medically. “Interesting year for me 2014, started with me knocking myself off number 1 in the UK and ended with my heart getting restarted in the ER,” he tweeted.

Interesting year for me 2014, started with me knocking myself off number 1 in the UK and ended with my heart getting restarted in the ER…this sort of stuff happened in between https://t.co/BS0JqXmyhY

— Calvin Harris (@CalvinHarris) May 20, 2020

That November, Harris pulled out from performing at the MTV European Music Awards, tweeting that “heart problems” were to blame. He revealed later that year that he had been diagnosed with an arrhythmia, characterized by an irregular heartbeat.

Putting down the bottle helped him to get read of the issue, as he revealed four years later during a Twitter Q&A that he was now sober. “The last thing I want to do is down 2 bottles of Jack Daniels a night, live on Greggs pasties and sleep on an absolutely stinking bus all year, scream down a mic for 55 minutes and pretend to play a keyboard 5x a week those days are behind me son,” he wrote in 2018.

He continued that “things are a bit less fun” without drinking alcohol, but that getting sober resulted in his arrhythmia not returning “since 2014.”

We’ll cheers to that… with some O’Doul’s.

REPORT: Drug Dealers Posing As Joggers & NHS Staff During Lockdown

Drug dealers are getting creative during the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine…

According to a report from The Guardian, some are posing as joggers or NHS staff with fake credentials in order to keep business moving in the UK.

During this time of social distancing, drug dealers have also reportedly turned to social media to coordinate drive-by sales and/or mailbox drops. They’re playing it “safe” by avoiding face-to-face contact with customers as much as possible.

Director of the National Centre for Gang Research at the University of West London, Professor Simon Harding, explained: “On one hand, they really are heeding government advice on social distancing, but at the same time it is business as usual and as people were panic-buying food, dealers were running bulk deals and selling lockdown party packs.”

He added, “Vehicles are being used more often to carry out deals arranged by phone, with products thrown from windows and money chucked on the back seat to keep items clean.”

From the sounds of it, drug dealers are being more careful than ever with less people on the streets.

Dozens Still Stranded At Panama Festival Due To COVID-19 40 Days After It Was Supposed To End

The last festival on Earth…

While festivals around the world are cancelled or suspended, Tribal Gathering in Panama is still going on, through no fault of the attendees themselves. The festival was originally scheduled to end on Sunday, the 15th, after beginning February 29th, but following the initial spread of COVID-19, it was placed on lockdown on March 12th.

Anyone who had been in Panama for 14 days was allowed to exit the location, but bureaucratic red tape kept changing the rules. Shuttles were allowed to leave, then they weren’t. Some people were being forcibly removed from shuttles and left to sleep on the side of the road for the night, their passports confiscated by the government.

Eventually, the UK embassy sent shuttles of their own to bring some of their own nationals back to Panama City. But they still weren’t allowed to leave the country.

On April 21st, the flight ban in the country was extended to May 22nd, meaning the festival-goers will be stranded for at least another month. There are still around 40 people stranded at the festival site, who have no idea when they will be able to go home.

“How” Vybz Kartel Roast Popcaan In New Song: Listen

Vybz Kartel quietly disses Popcaan on his new song “How” and barely anyone noticed.

This is the second song that Kartel released this week after dropping a new joint dedicated to his mother on Monday. Recently, the Gazanation deejay has been quietly taking shots his former protege Popcaan who he previously ousted as being a disloyal member of the Gaza over his alignment with Drake. In one of his recent songs, Kartel accused the Unruly Boss of stealing some of his styles and now on this new Dunwell Productions-produced single, he calls him bad mind.

“Judas by time you say a who that / Back fly go Cuba, wat time now Muller / Time fi you stop watch man give thanks for what you have / Red eye will blind yo or make man wine yo / How yo fi badmind yo friend wa the bloodclat do them… / Cut them off like Gillette / How yo fi badmind yo friend unni fi move and go weh / Give them a spinners with six shots Russian Roulette / Bout yo rate me yo no rate me talk yo a talk / But mi naan hear nutten just blah blah blah,” Vybz Kartel deejay over a dancehall beat.

In the lyrics, Kartel is saying that Popcaan badmind (envy) him for the things he achieved and then always talk about how much he rates (respect) Vybz Kartel, but now him Kartel stop listening to all of that and sees him for what he really is, badmind and disloyal.

During an interview back in July in the UK, Popcaan opened up about the hate that he has been getting from Vybz Kartel and the rest of the Gazanation fan base which makes up more than half the dancehall fans population in his opinion. Poppy also said that he learned from the hate that he has been experiencing and that is helping him stay on top.

“Since I’ve been around Vybz Kartel like a lot of people use to hate Vybz Kartel but he stayed on top and I learn that from him,” Popcaan explains. “That is why if Vybz Kartel hate Popcaan today I will forever be on top because I learn that from him.”

Vybz Kartel’s Gazanation Fans Angry Over MOBO Awards Snub

Vybz Kartel was not among the five names nominated for the 2017 MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act and his are furious.

The list of nominees for the 2017 Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards for Best Reggae Act came out last week and all five nominees are local Jamaican artists. Popcaan, Alkaline, Aidonia, Chronixx, and Damian Marley are the five nominees this year. A lot of dancehall fans are again questioning why Vybz Kartel was snubbed despite having a massive year last year which continues into this year.

“The system trying to fight against the boss [Vybz Kartel] but they can’t stop him,” one fan wrote. “Kartel had a bigger year than Popcaan, Aidonia, and Alkaline and yet he was not nominated for a MOBO are you kidding me. This is utter nonsense and that’s why people can’t take these awards serious anymore.”

Fans echoed some similar sentiments last year when the deejay was not nominated. There is an underlining reason why Vybz Kartel may not get a MOBO nomination, at least as long as he is behind bars he may never get a nomination per the rules of the award show. Additionally, MOBO is based in the UK where most radio stations are barred from playing songs from convicted felons who are serving time behind bars like Vybz Kartel who is doing life for a murder case.

One fan criticized those fans who are angry at Kartel’s MOBO snub while drawing reference to his album sales numbers last year. “Don’t make music fool you prison is taking a hold on Vybz Kartel Now you cannot be in prison for murder and get the mobo award and apart from that he’s not doing any live performance 3249 in 15 weeks sales for the top dancehall artists of 2016 that’s a shame on dancehall and Vybz Kartel the great Shabba Ranks used to sell millions and Beenie Man gaza fans please don’t even brag about it on YouTube 3249 copies that’s a shame on Kartel?” Joel wrote.

Despite being incarcerated since 2011, he has remained in the top echelon of dancehall with a consistent supply of new music. Last year, he came under investigation under orders directly from the Ministry of National Security for allegations that he has been recording music in prison, something that would be illegal and could potentially send him into solitary confinement. Nevertheless, new music continues to pour out of Vybz Kartel coffers like hot bread and he is showing no signs of slowing down.

Popcaan Drops New Song “Can’t Box” Shows Off Expensive Jewelry

Popcaan sends a clear message to his enemies in his new single “Nuh Bwoy Can’t Box.”

The Unruly Boss dropped the new gangsta anthem last night and took a moment to show off his pricey jewelry collection. The gritty single is featured on the Panic Riddim, produced by JAM 2 Records and DRE Swade. “If bwoy diss me in a day mi naan go kill them night / Same place deso him a loose him life / Bombohole head buss off like a f**king sprite, unruly / No pu**y cyan diss mi pon god earth, no / Unless me bloodclat hand naan work / Mi guns and mi killy them alert,” Popcaan spits.

Popcaan also took the opportunity to show off his expensive watches and chains including a massive Unruly chain. Poppy has been having a great year and has a chance to make history at next month’s MOBO Awards in the UK if wins. The “Party Shot” deejay is going up against artists like Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Aidonia, Chronixx, and his arch nemesis Alkaline. Popcaan won the MOBO award for Best Reggae Act for the past two years and this year could be his third straight year.

The 25-year-old retired Olympic gold medalist and gymnast and two-time Dancing With the Stars competitor married the 26-year-old football player in Tennessee in April 2016.

“We feel like a lot of people go through this so we wanted to share it, ” Johnson said in a YouTube video while sitting with her husband.

“The past 48 hours have been some of the happiest, scariest, and saddest times of my life,” she wrote. “My husband Andrew and I found out that we were unexpectedly pregnant, only to find out hours later some tragic news. I have been crying more than I ever have, but am still optimistic for what is next.”

In the video, two digital home pregnancy tests are shown and are positive. Johnson then holds them up and declares, tearfully, “We’re going to have a baby. I definitely wasn’t planning this but it’s really, really exciting. How am I gonna tell Andrew? He’s going to be a daddy.”

Johnson and East were then shown driving to a doctor’s office. She said she started feeling stomach pains.

After the video was posted, Johnson and East took to Instagram and Facebook Live to chat with their fans.

They appeared to be in good spirits as they answered questions. They said they did not plan to get pregnant.

Alkaline Is As Big As Popcaan Internationally Says Producer Lee Milla

Is Alkaline as big as Popcaan on the international scene? Dancehall producer Lee Milla thinks so.

Since breaking onto the scene, Alkaline has had a big rivalry with former Gaza prefect Popcaan, and this year that beef reached an all-time high with diss tracks coming from both sides. Both artists are arguably among the top five deejays in dancehall currently, so the argument is who is bigger internationally. This debate is going on right now and while fans of both sides think that their artist has the edges.

Lee Milla, who has produced songs for Vybz Kartel, is now producing songs for Alkaline, Mavado and Jahmiel. The beat maker thinks that the Vendetta boss is definitely as big as Popcaan globally. Speaking with Anthony Miller on ER last week, Milla was asked what direction is the artist currently taking his career. “As you can see from the year start he has been doing a lot of international collabs so obviously a international him thing deh,” Lee Milla said.

Anthony Miller then suggested that Alkaline is not doing it internationally on the same level as Popcaan while saying that Popcaan has the edge. “I wouldn’t say that,” Lee Milla responded. Poppy has been linked with Drake and has collaborated with international acts like Young Thug and UK rapper Giggs. Alkaline recently collaborated with French Montana on his new album “Jungle Rules.”

EarthGang – Mediate (Rags EP)

[Verse 1: J.I.D]
Everybody, everybody (uh ok)
Everybody wanna be a nigga, but nobody wanna be a nigga when it’s time to be a nigga
If you thinking it, then say it, when you see a nigga
Please be clear, I rhyme, I do not mind
Read or write the beat then have your girl ride the C train to me to ride the D and give me brain
And you can see the stains I place upon the sheets
Oh, you gon’ come for me?
Well my nigga, you better have an army at least
Or more than a gun for me
I’m more than a man, not a God, but the boy is a man
We ignore all the noise from the outlandish
Standout with the cannon, outstanding, south bandit
Don’t panic, please, ’cause if I get nervous we get un-sturdy and we start to squeeze

[Verse 2: Johnny Venus]
Okay, niggadom
Nigga from nigga slum
Blue tongue, red tongue
Nigga flavors, go ‘head, son, get you some
Nigga got a lot of gifts
But package store was always open
Jail house don’t ever close
And my world view was always shut
Trap spot was always bunkin’
Neighborhood was always crunk
See I was outside riskin’ snakes eyes
With my life chances, stakes high
Only outlet was the moon walk
Michael Jackson dances, so shuck and jive, nigga, bust a nine
Shoot behind the line, my only advances
USA eat me like a cancer
UK eat me like a cancer
Gettin’ money and they tag the crib
Ask King James, "what’s the fucking answer?"
Still a nigga out in Calabasas
Still a nigga when I greet the masses
Oval office, presidential grasses
When I fuck my white girl and I meet her daddy
I know deep down inside, man, he hate that shit
Plotting for the perfect time to bury me
Nigga, please, show ’em the green like a caddy
Venus, Serena them daddy
But that shit don’t change my appearance
Asians like, "That’s my nigga"
Latins like, "That’s my nigga"
White folks like, "That’s my nigga"
‘Til it’s time to die, bye, bye, nigga
Now don’t get offended, I was just giving you hard time
Come to your block, give you hard line
My, did I come at the wrong time?
But see I sent comets to the Earth
Me, I was humming at your birth
I put colors on the spectrum
I let you assign them worth

[Chorus: Johnny Venus]
Looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you
Looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you
I be looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you, ooh
Looking for peace when I stare at you

[Verse 3: Doctur Dot]
You know I’m here for the nigga shit
Whole life been nigga rich
Since my momma let a project nigga hit
Set it up so when I meet the reaper
Let my son reap the benefits
Nigga shit on social media
Get a nigga pinched, end up in the pen
Surrender your independence ’til the sentence finished
Even with no pot you got a cup to piss in
Burning bridges with my tunnel vision
Bitches leave niggas for cunnilingus
Fuck me like her nigga non-existent
No negativity, niggativity
Why you being silly fucking with me
Giggity giggity
When I’m in the city
They like, Doc you litty
Not as lit as I’m finna be
I just wake up and do shit differently
I can never say they doubted my ability
Along the way some niggas just wasn’t feeling me
Niggas lost faith and quit on me
I just tuck ’em in the back of my memory
One monkey don’t stop no show, my niggas got goals and responsibilities
So you know by any means, really mean any and everything to the team
Nothing off limits nigga, ain’t gon’ keep shit clean
Me and my niggas the niggas that they should’ve never let go free
Niggas got me talking through my teeth like I’m 50 Cent in ’03
Ain’t no Kunta Kinte, nigga Toby what they told me
"What it’s gon’ be?"

[Chorus: Johnny Venus]
Looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you
Looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you
I be looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you, ooh
Looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you
Looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you
I be looking for peace in America
Looking for peace when I stare at you, ooh

[Outro: DC Young Fly]
Lift them tities up, thank you
Oh let go then, AY

Willow – Fireball Lyrics (ft. Nicki Minaj)

WILLOW
Fireball Lyrics (ft. Nicki Minaj)

Willow…

Uhm, hello, can we get the party started, yeah!
Uhm, hello, can we get the party started…

Young Money…

[Hook]
I’m the fireball, I’m the fireball, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball, I’m the fireball, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball, I’m the fireball, I’m the fire
Fire, fire, fire

Since I landed here, I gon’ phone up a ram…
Shook the world up, now I caused a little drama
Leader of the new school, and yes I’m gonna light up the block to the stage when I wanna

…in the stars, throw my hair ‘nother curve
Don’t …. walk it out, check I want with a slur
Levitating in mom’s over with the phone
Imma rock the world, til they follow Willow

[Hook]
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fire, I’m the fire

I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fire, I’m the fire

See I ain’t never been the one to … my own horn, beep, beep
Now watch me put on
I set fire everywhere I plane, make them all go insane, L.A to UK

Now Imma burn it up, when I step on the scene
My all crew is fresh, and they rolling with me
You can tear me up yep to the extreme
Imma rock the rock til they follow with me

[Hook]
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fire, I’m the fire, I’m the fire, I’m the fire

I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire

I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fireball of the party, I’m the fire
I’m the fire, I’m the fire, I’m the fire, I’m the fire

[Nicki Minaj – Rap Verse]
Hey yo Willow, didn’t I just see you in China?
…..even though you’re a minor
Your daddy keep ya in designer
You’re girly, girly, girly, yeah you’re girly, kind
Okay, I’m the street fighter, call me …
And it’s going down like a …
Booked the guest house to put the … in
Cause i’m a fireball …
Put your arm on my wing, i’m the top boss
Ain’t from louisiana, but i’m hot sauce
…..and just to come and build a house off
So why I never gonna worry what the house cost
If they coming at you, tell them raise up
When it’s time to whip your hair, put your braids up
Tell them escalator, elevator, yeah the manor, stop your waiter, been nobody greater, will and jada is my neighbour hater

Watch the fire burn…burn, burn
Watch me heat it up
Watch the fire burn…burn, burn
Watch me heat it up
Watch the fire burn…burn, burn
Watch me heat it up

Elton John – Philadelphia Freedom lyrics

Music by elton john
Lyrics by bernie taupin
Released as a uk single in february, 1975

I used to be a rolling stone
You know if the cause was right
Id leave to find the answer on the road
I used to be a heart beating for someone
But the times have changed
The less I say the more my work gets done

’cause I live and breathe this philadelphia freedom
From the day that I was born Ive waved the flag
Philadelphia freedom took me knee-high to a man
Yeah gave me peace of mind my daddy never had

Oh philadelphia freedom shine on me, I love you
Shine a light through the eyes of the ones left behind
Shine a light shine a light
Shine a light wont you shine a light
Philadelphia freedom I love you, yes I do

If you choose to you can live your life alone
Some people choose the city
Some others choose the good old family home
I like living easy without family ties
Till the whippoorwill of freedom zapped me
Right between the eyes

Onyx & Dope D.O.D. – Doomsday (Shotgunz In Hell Album)

[Intro: Jay Reaper]
Ey yo move mate I’m getting moody
Cause your music you don’t move me
I’m in the mood today to just shoot away
Nigga too cray Paul Mooney
Ya bitch niggas just tomb raid em
We crusade from here to UK
Like a new plague Its to late
We bring it, Doomsday

[Verse 1: Fredro Starr]
[?]
Not with the time but she a snowflake
In the bathroom taking a coke break
Doing crooked shit to get the dough straight
Fuck a jimbo we whole weight
Pushing pounds through the whole state
I got bullets in your brain just rotate
Leave a nigga body in a cold state
Rigamortis that’s when you go against niggas orders
Electric tape like Biggie thought us
The type that’ll kidnap niggas daughters
Half my niggas is brain dead
Eyes the color blood stained red
(now is not the time for fear, that comes later)
Like Bane said

[Hook: Jay Reaper]
Ey yo move mate I’m getting moody
Cause your music you don’t move me
I’m in the mood today to just shoot away
Nigga too cray Paul Mooney
Ya bitch niggas just tomb raid em
We crusade from here to UK
Like a new plague Its to late
We bring it, Doomsday

[Verse 2: Skits Vicious]

Trap it, Onyx D.O.D on it
We quick to demolish your feeble event

Sticky and Dro fill em with holes
Vicious and Reap put em to sleep
Deadly vapors plastic tubes and respirators
Stack of paper, back to Vegas
Crack a bottle, smack a waiter
So and so they sew you up
Comatose you roasted duck
Back on the scene with a banger
Handle the heat with the hammer

[Verse 3: Sticky Fingas]
I’m still on paper fresh outta jail
No heavenly father i was raised in hell
Billy had her mother she was raised in bail
Sister around the corner selling fruit cocktails
Bitches on your knees niggas get your hands up
Whats it gonna be? either way imma bust
I’m movin overseas America is so fucked
Must’ve got drunk woke up and voted for Trump?
Its the end of the world and I’m holding a pump
Dick to your girl while she’s rolling my blunt
Drink in my hand while I’m slappin her butt
If its doomsday imma go nuts
Take you apart see what you’re made of
Playing a part, your whole life’s made up
Take out your heart, see what your brain does
Soon its death what you afraid of?

[Outro: Jay Reaper]
Ey yo move mate I’m getting moody
Cause your music you don’t move me

Ace Hood – 2 Fux

Beast
( Renegade, renegade, renegade )
Uh, I wake up every morning, thank God, then I gotta get to it
I never had a role model, money was the only influence
While they was talkin’ ’bout it in the city I was really out doin’ it
Hundred bands I was 19 and the man, I knew it, okay
Thats around the time I shine had these niggas all hatin’
Same time I was grindin’ same time I was patient, you was standin’ with your hand out waitin’, yeah yeah
Imma keep it real, how it feel? I don’t give 2 fucks
Count another bag on the road I could never get enough
They wanna hang when I’m on where they were when the shit got tough
And what a nigga think about me? I don’t give 2 fucks
You don’t pay my bills, you don’t feed my kids, your opinion don’t matter
My pockets still gettin’ fatter
God damn and the last time I looked in the mirror I was starin’ at a real one
And fuck makin’ friends, where the ends at ’cause all my dogs need a million
I don’t give a fuck about poppin’ no bottles in the club
I’m focused on the money, I ain’t never going back the way I was
A lot of people asked why I drive it here then it get missin’
Sorry to my fans, I’ll be way more consistent
Haters get the middle finger, Lord be the witness, listen
Got a crib out west out in Cali when I touch down
Fired my old jeweler went and got a new jeweler made him [?]
I thinks it’s funny how they wanna be down all of a sudden young nigga gettin’ up now
Yeah, king of the city nigga, king of the state, turn beast when the sun down
I’m just really having fun now
Funny how that slick talk minimize when ya boy ’round
I just landed in the UK, in a suite with a pretty little freak sippin’ D’Ussé
Murda murda in the booth, aye
I’m a killer on the beat, increasin’ the crime rate
I need a mill, not an entrée
I need a Jay, no Beyoncé
Smoke like a choo train
Showin’ niggas how to do things
Boys biting on the flow, I changed up like a mood ring
Young nigga with a new flame
Don’t compare me to no mane
Top of the food chain, uh

Vanessa Hudgens & Ashley Tisdale – Ex’s & Oh’s (Elle King Cover)

[Verse 1]
Well, I had me a boy, turned him into a man
I showed him all the things that he didn’t understand
Whoa, and then I let him go
Now, there’s one in California who’s been cursing my name
Cause I found me a better lover in the UK
Hey, hey, until I made my getaway

[Pre-Chorus 1]
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
Cause I’m the best baby that they never gotta keep
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave

[Chorus 1]
Ex’s and the oh, oh, oh’s they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make ’em O
They won’t let go
Ex’s and oh’s

[Verse 2]
I had a summer lover down in New Orleans
Kept him warm in the winter, left him frozen in the spring
My, my, how the seasons go by
I get high, and I love to get low
So the hearts keep breaking, and the heads just roll
You know that’s how the story goes

[Pre-Chorus 1]
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
Cause I’m the best baby that they never gotta keep
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave

[Chorus 2]
Ex’s and the oh, oh, oh’s they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make ’em O
They won’t let go
Ex’s and the oh, oh, oh’s they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make ’em O
They won’t let go
Ex’s and oh’s

[Pre-Chorus 2]
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
Climbing over mountains and a-sailing over seas
One, two, three, they gonna run back to me
They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave

[Chorus 2]
My ex’s and the oh, oh, oh’s they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make ‘em O
They won’t let go
Ex’s and the oh, oh, oh’s they haunt me
Like ghosts they want me to make ‘em O
They won’t let go
Ex’s and oh’s

Watsky – London Eclipse Lyrics

Come, the moon is over the sun
We’ll use the shadows to run
No one can stop us from leaving
Come, the moon is over the sun
We’ll use the shadows to run
No one can stop us from leaving

Breathing’s boring
What a stupid task it’s
Only 8 a.m. this train’s a moving casket
Brew it black and spike your coffee with your flask
Before you leave the house each day pull on your ‘fuck you’ mask
You know that sad disguise
You know that patch of lies
Commuters pull their papers wide so folks can’t catch their eyes
We let these years of tears build up and now it’s heavy stakes
And we might drown this city if we let these levees break
So I gotta get a grip
Show ‘em I won’t let it slip
I know that what’s done is done and so that’s why it’s dumb to trip
I’m not scratching at the walls, that’s London at my fingertips
They use the news from yesterday to wrap tomorrow’s fish and chips
So you can print me on pretty, colorful paper
Right next to the psycho bitch who allegedly stabbed her neighbor
And I’ll be looking back up atcha until you’re ready to crumple me up
Oh, oh, oh

[Hook]

At the last eclipse, I was living as a single man
My girl’s looking through a pinhole camera
That she made out of a Pringle’s can
Pointed upwards at a gray London sky, pretending she could see the sun (the sun)
And I’m really looking right at her thinking maybe she could be the one
We could run
New York, L.A., UK, what do you say
Got no plans
Got no faith
Another new sun, gonna bring a new day
I wait to queue for the Baker loo, then I take the tube
30 minutes heading to Kent
And I’m coming straight to you with a big bouquet
We’re not anchored
We got our freedom and we can wander any path that we wanna on the planet
Damn it we don’t even need a answer
And I’m looking at all the 9 to 5ers on the train
But all the 9 to 5ers on the train are lookin at your pretty faces
Lookin at the sun that only you can see up in the Evening Standard
This could be home to me
Home could be anywhere
We could be anywhere
We could be free
I’m happy with you
If you were somewhere new
Do you think you still could be happy with me?
Timing is key and our timing was keen
And time is as slow and so why should we baby
You make me weak in the knees
We could move every weekend but only if we can agree to where
Home could be anywhere
We could be anywhere
We could be free
I’m happy with you
If you were somewhere new
Do you think you still could be happy with me?
Timing is key and our timing was keen
And time is as slow and so why should we baby
You make me weak in the knees
We could move every weekend but only if we can agree to where

P Money – Keepin’ It Real

[Verse 1: P Money]
I just wanna make music
Hit the studio, create music
My fans purchase, download and play music
Seek melody, metaphor and rave music
That chill on the sofa and play music
Don’t want a beat, just wanna play music
Who am I kidding? I’ll beat when I play music and
If her boyfriend is talking smack
I’ve got that lead your girlfriend away music
I’ve got that wild, you’ve got that tame music
I’ve got that real, you’ve got that lame music
I’ve got that cosign, labels wanna sign the work of art
Belong in the Tate music
Grime, rap, UK bass music
That real easy to embrace music, and
Any MC that is thinking they’re rough
I’ve got that punch a man in their face music
That serve you [?] ace music
Black, white, don’t watch race music
Still here, kept my faith music
Ten years, never made no fake music
Man have been making that great music
You need to make that stay in your lane music
Cuh 2016, I’ll be touring Australia
Second time round like

[Pre-Hook: P Money]
I’ve been killing shows with no deal
I always keep it down to earth, I’m so real
I’m ready, I’m itching to go, can’t sit still
They’re so fake, they don’t even know how it feels when you’re

[Hook: P Money]
Trill, keeping it real
Trill, keeping it real
Trill, keeping it real
Trill, keeping it real
Trill, they don’t even know
How it feels when you’re
Trill, keeping it real
Trill, keeping it

[Verse 2: Stormzy]
If you’re gonna send then send for the top
Look, trust me, I get it (calm)
I’ll take that shot and I’ll take that shot
Yeah, I’m photogenic (calm)
But when I spray back and I ended careers
Don’t tell me to dead it (‘llow it)
Bare of these MCs hate me
But they still see me and beg it (pussies)
And I still came back with the game on my lap
Like “nobody move” (no one)
Tryna take care of my Gs
Ain’t tryna see nobody lose
But man try come for my team, I’ll dun him off
My man thought he’s a G, stop running off
I’ve got a crown and you’ve got a crown
But rudeboy, this crown here ain’t coming off (‘llow it)

[Pre-Hook: P Money]

[Verse 3: P Money]
Yo, I was one of the youngers that you couldn’t send shop
Yeah, I was a mummy’s boy, but never soft
I boxed man that thought they couldn’t get boxed
Topped MCs that thought they couldn’t be topped
When I flow on the riddim, I never get lost
When you flow on the riddim, you’re told “get lost”
Labels wanna know how I keep going hard
Thought I took a pill cuh my ting never went flop
Complete control, I could never get dropped
There was never a show that never went off
Milking it for so long and it never went off
Don’t know why, maybe it’s cause I never went pop
Helped out the game, man did that a lot
Bring us down to festivals, did that a lot
Man can chat shit about me doing dubstep
Told grime police man never bread cops
So I still spray on dubstep now, and what?
Wait, cut the beat out, let me talk to these lot
Let’s talk P, I’m on about me
First grime act packing at Wireless? Me
Spraying on “Eskimo” at Wireless? Me
Five years straight and still tireless? Me
When everybody got a deal and did what they feel
Who was here releasing grime CDs? Me and Jme
Grime tracks on every single EP? Me
Young MC that was duppying pirate? Me
Big MC still duppying pirate? Me
Doing shows worldwide, play a man’s vocal
Showing their country that it’s not just me
Who was doing that at the time? No one, me
There was more but I can’t fit it in a sixteen
Man just better respect me

[Verse 1: HoodyBaby]
I don’t know how to do this shit

Hit the UK, I’m mobbin’ with the Section
Out here ballin’ since a adolescent
I was 15 when I start finessin’
Told a teacher fuck her math lesson
I was juggin’ through the whole class session

[Verse 4: Swift]
Trap money, I’m a trapper
My young boy was a Rihanna
Flash a blockia like a camera
Slap slap, that’s the hammer
Count grand to my nana’s
Sucky sucky, from [?]

[Verse 5: Section Boyz]
I ain’t endin’ a passer
Pass up if I catch a brack, you go back up
Get me down, I get back up
Yo mi casa es su casa

[Verse 6: Sleeks]
6 man in the van, that’s gang in the pan
That’s maceroni and pasta
Bring a nigga from a [?]
Girl climb on, know you want a ladder

[Verse 7: Littlez]
And keep climbin’
Cause she a bad bitch with her manner
I know a mad man with a dagger
That says, “Fuck feds and they camera”
Trappin’, pick up a brick
Rip it in bits, gone
I’m really livin’ this shit
Pick up a stick
You could see smoke like a bong

[Verse 8: Section Boyz]
Peng peng, wanna get groovy
Man I turn your girl to a groupie
Go ratchet tings too bougie
With a big booty and boobies
See the big tour man move bookies
Old school, mad bros, no new Gs
Roll with a clip like the movies
Man I kick man down like Bruce Lee

[Verse 9]
I got all these bitches, they [?]
They ain’t want me then but they want me now
Got that killer swag, watch ’em mime my style
I done stacked up a milli from petty crime
Got some new shoes off some new shit
This flow is like water need crew ships
My life is a movie, take your flick
It’s a foreign bitch cause

[Verse 10: Famous Fresh]
They know I’m flexin’
OHB and Section

Kano – Dun Know The Myspace Lyrics

It’s K-A, check, check, check it out

[Verse 1]
Listen, yeah, yeah, you dun know the Myspace
I’m a vet MC niggas can’t violate
I’m two albums deep already
And how ever many singles under my name
Yeah, yeah, you dun know the my K
Fire for no reason, I’m nice
Can’t stop me like a Hummer in drive
Gone like I’m roadrunner in spikes
Yeah, yeah put me in the right lane
I’ll still breeze on a beat with a bang
I might perform my beats with a band
There ain’t no MC deeper than man
Hot like the bottom of the pan
And I’m still totalling on like twang

[Hook]

Man, look at my Myspace, my fanbase is swollen like clams
With old school fans and new school fans
I got UK fans and Europe fans
I got older fans and younger fans
And you dun know I’m repping for my Myspace fam

[Verse 2]

Yeah, yeah you dun know the vibe ain’t right in a rave on stage if I ain’t
On it with DJ Medonit, excitement levels we go beyond it
Enrol my shows like college, I show you how to do this son
Come like dumb, leave like a boffin
Cause I’m a teacher like KRS-One, one

Haha, I’m just having fun
Know why? Cause I’m MC number 1
Mc number 1
Yeah I know I didn’t finish that verse but I don’t give a shit
I wrote that shit whilst Mikey was beefing on the phone with his chick
HAHA! It’s K-A, It’s K-A
